Mind, Heart or both?

5:57am Todo list: Make coffee, smoke cigaret, enjoy life.

Fine, i have less then 3 minutes to make my cofee with a cigaret before work starts. The best while in the morning.. atleast i thought so before i noticed that there were no coffee. Screw this.

6:01am Todo list: Coffee searching.. paperwork, paperwork, make call, paperwork, call, paper, call... meal break, work, work, work

The phone is ringing. I should change ringtone for something less dramatic.. "Sir, we have a problem here. The building site is full of people, they've come to cut nearby trees. They are blocking our workspace". For fu.. god's sake, the deadline is in 6 days, another delay is not alloweable.

6:02am Todo list: Find car keys, drive safely, kick some asses, return to office

6:28am Raining. After sharp turn i notice some overturned car in a side ditch. Can't see anything through this rain wall, someone or something is near the car. Call police? Medics? Check first? I get out from the car.. like a jump into ocean. That something turns to me and looks into my eyes.

6:29am Those eyes...

6:30am Khm.. Khm.. "Lady, are you hurt? You need anything? Call police, medics?" eyes... "No, thank you, i am ok. Police will arive in a while" I look at my watches 6:31 Shit, work.. eyes..work..eyes.. "Are you sure you are ok?" "Yes, thanks" work..

Mind: She is ok, you need to worry about your job. You are on trials, if you fail this project, it will cost alot of money to the company and you will get fired...crisis, winter. Get to the car and drive!

Heart: Eyes.. They are so beautifull, to hell with work, she is the ONE.

Mind: Work!

6:32am "I'll be moving then." She keeps looking at me. Our bodies turns around forcin heads, but eyes are still bonded.. Bond breaks. I walk to my car, sit inside, check the mirror, she is not looking here. Engine starts..

Todo list: drive, kick some asses, work

6:47am Arrived to the building site. Eyes.. Kicked some asses. Kicked some more asses. Eyes.. Worked hard.

9:20am Todo list: Forget the girl, return to office, work.

9:34am This turn. Sun is shining. I slow down the car. Nothing reminds of car accident and the girl. Eyes.. F*ck, i should have asked for her phone number. F*ck you, mind. What now? Calm down, drive to office, call police, they might help you.

10am Todo list: remember the details. Call police.

Eyes.. Keep attention on the car. Color? Green. Model? Hmm.. the common lines, common car.. Fabia? No.. Felicia? Yes. Licence plate? No idea. Wait.. there were 7 at the end.. Upside down car, numberplate.. so it was L. This means she could be from this region.

"Hello, police?"
"Yes, can i help you?"
"I hope so, today morning about half past six there was a car accident. Green felicia. I'd like to know if the driver is ok"
"You are participant of that accident?"
"No, i was driving near and saw the accident. Car was on the roof. I stoped and went to check if my help is needed." Eyes.."There were a lady. I've asked if she needs something, but she said it's ok. That she've already called police"
"Hmm.."
"Look, i left her there and now cant throw her out of my mind. Can you please tell me if she is allright?"
"Well..No medical care were needed. She was fine"
"Could you give me her contact?"
"No, this is against the law"
"Or maybe contact her and pass my phone number?"
"I am sorry, no"
"Damn, can you give me some advice how could i contact her?"
"No"
"Thanks for your time"
"Goodbye"

Next day:

What next? If she is from around here, i could post an announcement in newspaper.. She, or some of her friends could see it.. if she reads this only newspaper in the region.. But there is still a chance, not big one but still..

Todo list: work, go to publishment.

Done.

Next day.. Next week..

Next month.

5:54am Todo list: Make coffee, smoke cigaret.

Some noises in the hall.. Boss is unusual early today. He calls me to his office..

"Listen, i don't like what i have to say.. You know the situation. Crisis, winter. There is no work for winter - no extra money to spare. I have my orders from above to fire 20 people. Since you are on trials, you are first in the list. The contract will be canceled at the end of the week."


Todo list: nothing
