i had the same problem^^
for fix the problem i use a little tool named "war3 fixer that put in registry the install of the game .i guess u moved the game like me ..use the problem 2 fix then use the patch and voallaa ^^
this isn't the write location 2 post this and admins will kill us when see this lol so i will write only 1 post xD

You must reinstall game... than you will be able to open 1.18 patch and patch the game...
You probably have 1.17 cracked version so patch doesn't recognize it, reinstall game and patch it, if you don't have crack on disc search for it on web, crack it, that's all...
