That was so low Exstasy. We were always there in EVeRY sport (we had just too many names :)). The football is only sport where we dont have champion title. With this team and coach its VERy possibble.

The FIFA Organising Committee approved today the procedure for the Final Draw of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa, which will be held in Cape Town on Friday 4 December. The seeding was based on the October 2009 FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking, and Brazil, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Argentina and England are therefore the seven squads that join hosts South Africa as seeded teams for the Final Draw.

The committee also approved the composition of the other pots as well as the procedure for the final draw:

• Pot 2 will be composed of teams from Asia (Australia, Japan, Korea DPR, Korea Republic), North, Central America and the Caribbean (Honduras, Mexico, USA) and Oceania (New Zealand)

~Germany the only selection everybody see from start in semifinals, doesn't matter if they are in bad shape or not, good or bad coach or w/e.
They always get there.
~Australia best from Asian(geographicly its not there) group.
~Ghana best African selection and World Champions in U21 (correct me if i am wrong)
~Serbia nightmare to those above.

This group is equal, most equal of all groups, everybody has even chances.
By bookies it goes like this :
~Germany is favourite, followed by Serbia, Ghana and Australia have equal chances.
But there is more then on paper here. I would never give up from saying that Ghana are some kind of de-facto favourites here. That selection doesn't seize to amaze me.
It will be interesting.
Also Group G is the death group, 3 strong hispano selections along with always-good-in-shape Switzerland.
H group : battle beetwen Portugal and CIV to strugle in next round, Brasil can also get in strugle if it messes up.
Group A: Mexico and Uruguay two equal selections, France got lucky on draw to be favourite in group. But seeing perfomance in qualifications, i would doubt that ...
Every other group will be rewritten from paper to next round. I just took note from interesting ones.

I don't think any of the groups is actually the strongest one. In each group, there are max 2 good teams, or 1 good team and 3 equal, so I don't really see any "death groups" around. The teams are so different and unpredictable...I wouldn't favour any of them, except the strongest ones.

My predictions for the upcoming WC:

Group A - can't say what exactly will happen, all I know is that France will embarrass themselves, AGAIN. but overall an equal group

Group B- Argentina and Greece prolly go through, S.Korea plays 1st game excellent- every1 declares them imba-wonder-workers and they got ktfo of the WC. Argentina gets shitfaced in quarters by some1 for the obvious lack of a quality midfielder and left back, and the even-more obvious excess of attackers

Group C - England and USA play an excellent opening game, which England marginally win, then they both use Slovenia and Algeria as floor mops. SLO wins the opening game vs ALG thus giving their fans some crazy ideas that they could actually do something there...

Group D - Tough 1. GER prolly go through, i think Serbia has the biggest chances to go as well, but Ghana is not to be underestimated. K.P. Boateng (Ghana) does the same thing to his brother Jerome (Germany ?lol?) that he did to Ballack

Group E - Netherlands has the biggest chance to go through, Japan has the smallest, although those yellow monster-machines cannot be ruled out. they're crazy you know...CAM and DEN have equal chances, but again, it all depends on their game vs JAP

Group F - Whoever said Italy will go like NP is probably right. Although they're even crappier than on euro they couldn't get an easier group if they were sent to compete in qualifications in Asia...

Group G - Many have said it, and are right- the death group, along with D group, the only unpredictable group. Brazil is always imba, but they tend to screw up their opening, which is now North Korea, which is a total mystery. Portuguese are like Argentina, they have an imballanced attacking potential, despite their humiliation vs Cape Verde, but a strong bunker can stop them easily, and it is here that Ivory Coast comes in with Drogsmonster and their midfield destroyers...tough 1 to call really, I personally wouldn't be surprised if North Korea goes through

Group H - as some1 said- a joke, Spain and some1- no1 really cares who, since other 3 teams such so hard they should allow only Spain to go forward from this game...

Brazil and Argentina both have great players but crappy managers.
England has too many captains and star players who won't work well, and they have only one good striker - though good manager
Spain will struggle against a team that have strong defense, since last game of that kind they played 2006 vs Italy. But they probably are the strongest force atm.
Germany miss captain/best player, and doesn't really have imbalanced striker.
France too has idiot manager, but they tend to play big games good, and small ones bad.
Serbia lacks bench, think what will happen if Vidic/Ivanovic gets injured? A hole on the field.
same goes for Slovakia, Denmark and Netherlands and their key players.
Portugal unworthy mentioning.
African teams no intelligence.
Asian teams no power.
Slovenia no both.

When Deco was on his prime, Ronaldinho was too, and Ronnie was better, so I think he would've been choice anyway, but I guess Deco would've had his games as well. (And since I am Chelsea fan, I prefer Deco anyway but its the truth)

In.My.Control, team that has players such as Torres, Villa, Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas, Silva, Navas, can't be bad. Brazil has only one superstar atm and that is Kaka', who is imo better than any spanish, and there is Maicon who is probably best RB atm. Lucio is very moody, he can play on top level, but he can fail games hard.

How can you say Drogba is bad, what makes player bad? He has everything striker needs, which is speed, strength, shooting technique, dribble, heading and most importantly he scored a lot goals last season, what exactly makes him bad player? Maybe he is a bad as a human, but he is an excellent striker.

And yes I do think eng/esp/ita competitions are much stronger than br. After all your whole national team plays there (apart from few).

They play in europe cause it's well payed, we can't keep them here because euro clubs got much more money than us.
So while we're giving U$100.000,00/month for a player like Robinho here, euro is giving U$200.000,00/week for unknown players.
Eng.Comp = fast game, fast pass, no abilities. Defenders are not that good imo so it's easy even for a bot like Drogba, he is not fast and he got no dribbles obviously, he won't do a thing in this cup.
Imo Portugal is very good, Portugal is always playing well and i always wanted to see Portugal in the top but saddly they always lose in the "X moment", so i'm not expecting that much from them now.

That competition is stupid, it's always Manchester/Chelsea.
Liverpool and Arsenal are no longer that good and Man City tried to make a super team but everybody knows that nothing will be different.

Did we watch the same game? I couldn't be happier for Spain's defeat, but to say they were shite is to be blind. They had so many chances, they played everything as they should have, even defense was good. The fact is that they "almost scored" more than a several times, they had game, passing, and as I said, even defense functioned rather well. The truth is that shit sometimes happens in football, being better does not necessarily bring you victory in every game. When you look at the goal they conceded, it's just a series of factors that were against them. I'll admit, Derdyok's attempt (that hit the bar) was really a work of art, but that's all Swiss did. Don't get me wrong, I would be over the moon if Spain dropped out of this group stage, but to say they didn't play well is just....well, it's just LOL

If 2nd round goes well, they control their chances in a direct battle against Australia.

Slovenia on the other hand has to face USA, which is a really really tough squad, even though many of the pop-football fans are not familiar with them. They are fast, physically strong, and they have their own concept of playing, which Slovenia, I am afraid (fuck no, I'm delighted with this fact actually :D) currently lacks. Last game vs. England should also be troublesome, since by then England will have probably collected 4 points, which will not be enough for them (provided USA gets the 3 points from Slovenia as I predict) and they will probably want to finish first in order to get the "easier" opponent in the 1/8 finals...

This was astonishing, whole downtown of Belgrade was burning... people celebrated as we won the wold cup. I hope that atmosphere and enthusiasm will lead us further.
Dont forget, Serbia was direct qualifier for the wold cup as the first in the group, so its obvious that we shouldnt be underestimated for one bad game against Gana. We showed we can win against any team.

Referee had hard criteria for cards and he respected it for both teams, so no one can say he was up for us. We deserved the win by the game, it was far from a lucky one.
