Can't Connect to BNet

Hey, I've been playing on this server for about a year now and suddenly I can't connect to BNet. I get this error, "Unable to connect to battlenet, you may be trying to connect to an invalid server etc..." I've gotten this error when my internet connection is down, but at the moment my internet is working fine, yet I still can't connect. I'm not banned or anything, what do I do?

This is my first post in the forums, if I did something wrong please correct me. :)

I'm not sure if this is the correct edit button I'm supposed to use, but here it goes...
I've restored my computer and am currently installing microsoft .net framework 3.5. After, I'll try the game again and see if there's any luck.

Lots of things can cause this:

Try to connect now. Maybe it was a server restart.

I checked you IP, it is not banned. But i will double check in case.

Also try that: http://eurobattle.net/showthread.php?t=74112

Try to connect with that client. Tell me if it works or not.

Next time, it would be nice if the thread was open in the Technical Support part ;)

I tried the Topaz Chat client but was unable to connect. It said, "Send Error: Server may not be responding"

Your IP is not banned tho. Did you patch 1.22 ?

Yeah, I've been using 1.22 since it came out. I was playing dota with a friend one moment, then an hour later I try to log on but can't even get to my account/password screen...any other ideas :(

Beside Battle.Net in the war3 main menu there is a little box, which server is chosen?

You got the correct one. Are you playing with the euroloader.exe?

I uninstalled and reinstalled topaz and tried two accounts, both didn't work. Same error as before, "Server may not be responding"

Did u read the whole guide? and followed all the steps?

Everything works fine up to step four. I read the other steps, but those are for what you do after you are connected, first I need to get connected.

I just reinstalled warcraft, patched 1.22, and used the server installer...euroloader works, but I still can't connect to BNet.

Well, all my network settings/firewalls/ports etc... are all the way they should be, the only thing left to try is restoring my computer >_< If this doesn't work, then I guess my days of DOTA are over.

try cleaning your registry and then reinstall the game on a clean registry , make sure you have .NET Framework 3.5 .

and a tip : to avoid infractions use the edit button when you are the last one who posted .

if its not your computer or internet connection then it must be the game . you are not installing it properly :)

It was working just fine one moment, then suddenly I am unable to connect to BNet. I doubt I'm installing it incorrectly:

1. Install ROC
2. Install TFT
3. Update patch 1.22
4. Install server/euroloader

Edit: After reading some posts in the technical help section I think I figured out what may be the problem. The same day I started having trouble getting connected I had called my ISP earlier to have them open port 6112. I had 6112 forwarded on my router, but I needed them to forward it on their router as well. Anyways, is it possible that some how their firewall is blocking eurobattle.net, and if so, what should I do/say to get them to allow access again? Thanks for the help :)

i was in but it was very laggy, so i restarted connection and then couldn't go back on

and i was wondering why coz my net worked and server status is on :)

Relax , nobody can connect right now , just like perito said , the server is simply restartin we will all be able to get back on soon.

Still...can't...connect. It's been three days now.

EDIT: I Just tried this:
1. Uninstall WC3
2. Clean Registry
3. Restart Computer
4. Reinstall WC3
5. Reinstall EuroBattle.Net Installer

Still, I am unable to connect. Perhaps my ISP is blocking EuroBattle.Net server? If so, what can I do about it?
I spent about half a day restoring my computer, reinstalling windows and all of the proper drivers. I've uninstalled and reinstalled WC3 numerous times...tried cleaning the registry and still no results. I've tried changing my IP Address, ipconfig/release and ipconfig/renew. Restarted my router and done everything to make sure it's not anything on my side. There can only be two possible scenerios:

1. My connection to the server is being prevented by the server (yet I have no bans/notations or anything)
2. My ISP is blocking my connection to the server
How frustrating :(

Mode can u check my IP .. Like the rest of the gang i played yestr. i shut the game and afterwards i couldnt connect, i tryed today several times and nothing. i re-instaled everything and it doesnt work

Hi, I got public IP and I cant connect on this website or even to server. Now I'm using free proxy to write this message. But three days ago I was able to connect on server even on website. But my roommate with little different IP can connect. So I got question if I am banned on eurobattle web and server or is the problem on my ISP side.

Same problem here... When i try to connect it says "Unable to connect to server. If you are using a modem try to connect it manually". I am using a modem but my internet connection works so it's not because of it.. Also my game is installed ok because i've been playing on eurobattle.net server for a couple of years now.. Last time i played was yesterday and there was no problem.. Now i can't connect.. Is it a server restart? Pls help.
