As the topic says, I'm looking for experienced mappers to help me create a proper village/city builder (not an insult to other authors, but most of the city builder maps are junk, incomplete, buggy or have just a few features). I myself have no experience in mapping for warcraft, but I can learn the basics and I'm a fast learner.
This genre of map (city/village/castle builder, with or without raiders, FFA or allied) is playable. I've hosted a lot of servers with different kinds of builder maps and the slots filled up easily. The most common problem I've witnessed is that it gets boring after 5-10 minutes. Especially when you fortify yourself pretty good and the other guy continuously attacks you and it never ends. I've got some ideas on how to repair this problem.
My goal is not to steal from others work or to claim someone's work in my name, I don't really give a damn about my popularity, I just want a good mapped builder to play and pwn noobs the right way.
If you want to join the team, reply to this thread with your location, age, and how experienced do you consider yourself to be (you can either give a value or say on what projects you have worked on). You can also reply with questions.
Yours truly,
Sergiu.
P.S.
I hope this is the right place to post this topic.
