nick problem on new patch

hi,im using vista.i uploaded all patches with regedit and the links above. Ok.. it's working now.
But,whenver i try to enter the server with my old nickname,it says "it's already chosen or the password is incorrect.
i took another nickname as u said above.. but it's failed again.it says password is incorrect.

now im trying it on another computer(XP and patched-it works now),it accepts new nick and old nick both. no problem on XP patched game.

but i think there's a user profile problem on vista patched warcraft..

hope u can find solution about this..

You want to say that u can log in from xp, but you cant from vista?
Check caps lock/WindowsLanguage... maybe y and z are inverted etc...

yeah. all patches are all work in xp and vista
but in vista,it doesnt accept nicknames.
when i try to log on with all new and old nicks,it says password is incorrect or no user were found with such nick etc.

i have no problem on XP
i made installer and 1.22 patch then regedit.
it started with no problem..

i installed war3patch on vista then 1.22 full patch
i opened the game,but when i try to log on with my old nickname,it said incorrect password.i gave a new nickname,it repeated" wrong user name ,password is in correct..

i tried all nicknames on Xp(no problem on patch),it seemed there's no problem on nicks ..
weird.

any idea about vista?

Its mostly a keyboard probleme. Try to find the settings...

you say you have a working copy on XP ?
ok try this, copy the Warcraft Folder from Widows XP to a Flash Memory, and then Paste it on ur Vista Windows. You might need to reinstall the server installer (not sure). Try to enter the game and log in.

Mostly it happends when you run the game from the loader (insted using the original blizzard exe), it gives you to login, but fail you when you enter your password.

Try to reinstall wc3 from scratch and do not apply any other patches than the once we gave you. It happened to me too , but sometimes it was just my keyboard.
