This might come a bit late, but maybe I could suggest something? :unsure:

Dunno what you think of this, but how about letting the best 2 players of each pre-round game advance? Like the last two players standing. We would get a 4 player game for a final then.

Disadvantage: The winning condition of the map could not be used, so it would have to be judged who lasted the longest.

Advantages: More players could play a second game, without the tourney getting any longer. And it would be less luck involved in who gets to the final.

Meeting channel will be W3-TOUR, when brackets will be filled and a hour will be set.

Oh, isn't there allready an hour set? 17:00 I read.
And the sugguestion Cisz comes with sounds rather cool, 2 advancing from each group :) and I do not think it matters that there is no message of who lives longest except the winner, cause it's rather easy too see who gets schooled in which order I'd say.
