This thread is for medium to advanced wc3 players who know the general strats and counterstrats for their race but are missing the edge to advance to the next higher skill lvl! You can post your replays and ask for improvement suggestions or error analysis by other (better) players! Like, why you lost the game although u had the correct unitchoice!

Pls don’t post real noob replays like under 50apm or flame ppl for their gameplay!

I hope we can get some live discussions up in this thread and help ppl on this server become better gamers!!

ok, since i started this thing, and am only a medium player myself i'll go first!
maybe it'l get this thing going°

It's me Ud vs Ne on TS! My early is ok as i managed to pick of quite a few whisps! By then i just reached tier2 and im thinking, go fast tier3 for techadvantage couse of harras, while creeping+exp and then nuke heroes with frosts and some abbos as meatshield!
but asson as he had talons my complete army gets cycloned! always with Ne

should i have pumped ghouls and made a tier2 push + maybe an expand!?
or go double SH and abbos+dessis?
or maybe add a panda and go gargs!?

My micro has also seen better games, maybe u got some hints there to!
..and i know it wasent excatcly clever to not have full goldmine at exp, i didnt rebuild abbos for to long at the end, but i sort of knew it was over^^(no escuse tho)

Okey, here we go. You had a shadow in his base and you saw the two buildings for talons and placed a building for frost wyrms? In that place you go dual crypts, you go mass ghouls with frenzy and destroyers. Just enter GOOD into his army with the ghouls press attack and leave them strike. Focus the talons with the gara***les. Don't forget to buy a rod in each hero, its almost as a ghoul and pwns archers fast and easy. You can go DL for third hero and sleep panda to avoid killing your gargs ( lvl 3 and later 5 ), make 1-2 destroyers just to get the drinking haze of your army and the fairy fire and cyclons ( on the ghouls and skeletons ints not really effective, but it will bring a large amount of mana/hp to the destroyers ), but you don't really need them. Rape the talons with the gargs, just press attack on a side with ghouls/skeletons and you're gonna win : ) ( depends of panda lvl, you can buy scroll of healing ).

PS. That elf players wasn't bad, but using that you would have won

I got that frost becouse 1-2 frosts + orb + coil/nova = constant instant heroKill :) , and i thought i had the advantage to afford it!
But i will definiatly listen to ur advice,!!!

Neah, focusing demon hunter is a souicide. He can buy anti magic potion, can find potion of greater healing, potion of unvirtability and then when he's used all of that, panda will tp him at home, he will heal himself of the moonwells and will come back into the battle with scroll of teleportation. : )

Nah, just noticed post and wont post replay's until i improve in strats, micros, and basic. Didn't play ladder for like 2 years and just started again few days ago so will need time to adjust to changes

LoL ? You should know that if Elf player is not retarded and has 2 AoD, talons wont be his ultimate army.
Non retarded elf players will make hipos and chimeras later in the game which will be impossible to counter with just ghouls and destros.
So, I believe that good strat with UD vs every NE is to make ghouls + gargs.

BTW in solo games 2x AoD vs UD is suicide. Works good in FFA though.

sry but this is nothing but ****y theory ,for example if UD plays standard fiends then how can 2 AOW be a bad thing cuz there are much stupid NE massers who are saying they are pro ,and they never heard about tier2.
you play fiends and you have about 5 of them ,and noob comes with 20hunts and owns your ass while you were upg. tier2...
btw why is suicide to make 2 AOW vs gnouls ,what will you make instead to own such a UD

-then by your theory NE cant do nothing against UD ,and then game isnt in balance at all....

You didn't read my post well enough..

I replied on Tito's post saying that UD must make gargs vs NE with 2x AoD not just ghouls and destroyers.

AoD = Ancient of Wind

AoW = Ancient of War

We were talking about talons, not hunts.

Even if Elf will make mass hunts using 2 AoWs, UD can still own him coz hunts are vulnerable to fiends pierce damage..
End when UD reaches tier2 gg to NE mass, coz statua for support and 2x meat wagons + Lich for nuke gg NE.

P.S. We are speaking about good UD players.

So no 2x AoW, coz mass fiends > mass hunts.

About 2 AoD, it is good strat, you can make variety of units, and in that situation UD cannot afford to play without anti air.

Aaaaa dude he won't make 20 hunts trust me,probably 10 or less and u will own him with 5 fiends and if he made 20 hunts(some stupid noob) and he attacks u,just get back to base upgrade 1-2 towers and when u get t2 make more fiends upgrade dmg,make slaughter house and wagons...undead base is lethal and if u made good build order and placed ur buildings to make ur enemy stuck in it if he rush u he won't get inside or u can switch to gargoyles and that is gg no re.But ghouls + gargs are best against elf.
I remember i played always fiend strat and even on @northrend i never lost against elf with mass hunts...that is just too stupid strat,u just need some micro and concetration.

vs elf go tier 3,2x crypts,make one statue(healing),go mass ghouls-gargs,upgrade ghould frenzy,and be sure to upgrade gargs with statue form(dont remember exacly how is called) and afther panda do instant bof and bear put gargs down and get them up and continue (thats how i would play),forgoth to mention mass scrolls nessesary
and vs mass hunts i agree with prime .... just a noobish strat ... easy to counter and not very affective(exept in ne mirror)

hm.. dunno from where to start xD

ill just say few things i noticed
1st you need better creep route... your route is... lets say bad : )
2nd micro was bad, dunno if you had lags or what, but it was bad
3rd you are buying pot on bm and sh. its 300 gold. you could buy scroll of heal, its much better investment. i really dont see reason to buy pot in later game, invu on bm is more than enough. point: scrolls. you cant have enough of them
4th kodo? where was it
5th last fight you dont have mana on sh and its still lvl2 while virus has lvl3 and mana pendant. there was no reason to take that fight. point: lvl3 is must

And I always do the mistake to attack opponent EVEN IF I DONT HAVE THE ADVANTAGE ! ....

and I dont understand , why in beginning I didnt bought ciclet ... just dust .

I am not a human player so...but this is not about strats anyways.. :)
First..you went to creep green spot near your base which is really really bad choice, while _cosh was creeping goblin shop, gained lvl 2 and took that item with Vampiric aura..
You should creep goblin shop too..humans are not kind of a race for harassment, really..in my opinion creeping is much better choice.
Later on..he owned your ass with that vampiric... He took Panda for his second hero who is always a better choice in Hu mirror than MK..
So basically, he owned you with Panda and vampiric :)

i wouldnt say that panda is better choice than mk. i watched it really fast and im not human player, but vs panda you need scrolls!!! also, in last fight you fired only 1 bolt - you should have nuke panda with mk all the time and attack it with brakers so he couldnt fire so much bofs. also, another thing, you were constantly on 51 food whats really bad idea cuz 51 = 7 gold per worker, 50 or less = 10 gold so do the math : ). and ye, sometimes you can just run away from enemy, its not necessary to tp if you can run. hope it helps

Well..priests and sorceresses are not so gifted with health so if panda is lvl 4 I'm not sure you can save them :P
...you say he should have focused panda with spell breakers so he run out of mana, well..this was mirror so _cosh could have done the same to his MK.
Yea but scrolls are really helpful, I don't know how you guys can even play without them :)

I should not give you any advices, as you have won over me :), but I always make blacksmith against NE to be prepared to pull rifles, because they really help a lot against NE.
