How to teach DotA to a no0b

it all started when i entered a 2v2 noob game .... i was a lil sour so i wanted to pwn some noobs , too bad one of them was a girl , then i lost my will to kill =)) ..... i remained 1v2 ... i made the ultimate build for bristleback in 20 mins and waited another 20 mins for them to make items ... trax had burizza and sniper has stigian .... i turned my back on them and i let them hit me just for target practice ... ofc they hit me for a long time and when i remained at 10%hp i started to fight back and killed one =)) .

i find it to be rewarding to teach what i know to others because then they look up to me :']


~`~ Play 2v2 apomem , you get purist and the noob gets whatever hero he/she wants .

~`~ The noob gives you share of his/her hero in order to learn how to move , how to attack , how to get in position , how to creep , how to kill , how to stand in position when pushing , how to avoid an attack , how to stay safe , how to deni creeps , how to control the hero at all time .

~`~ Basicly you play 2 heroes at the same time , purist is only for backup/support ( heal + repel )

~`~ Use ctrl+1 for the team mates hero and ctrl+2 for your hero , this way u can control them easy , also play both of them at the same time by pressing 1, 2 very fast .

~`~Teach him/her what to buy , what skills to learn , how to defend ..etc

now me and "someone" are playing luna + purist , first she wanted to play trax but afterr she saw luna and her ultimate she switched to luna .

luna is a good starting hero for a dota noob , glave attacks = more chances of killing creeps . and purist is the best support hero in 2v2 so the "newb" does not die :D

p.s. if u want someone to learn dota from the beginning send them to me and in a few days they will be able to play a pro game :D

here are 3 replays . chat is in romanian . you can observe how i show the newb the basics of dota if i play with his hero and with my own hero , farming is the basic element of a good game , ofc i made some mistakes but .... we learn from mistakes too ^_^

1. I HAVE SUFFICIENT SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE TO TEACH DOTA TO A PERSON WHO HAS NEVER PLAYED IT BEFORE . THE NAME OF THE THREAD IS CALLED " DOTA LESSONS FOR NOOBS " BUT YOU ARE TOO IGNOREANT TO NOTICE , YOU ONLY SAW ME POSING AS A TECHER AND U OPENED YOUR IGNORANT MOUTH TO CRITICISE IN AN IGNORANT WAY . ( you think i cannot teach dota to a noob ? )

2. THE ONLY THING THAT STOPS ME FROM JOINING SS IS MY LAGGY COMPUTER 256 RAM 1400 PROCESSOR , 6FPS IN 5V5 DOTA GAME AFTER 50 MINUTES HAVE PASSED . 600 REZOLUTION , LOW AND OFF ALL VIDEO . I KEEP ONLY SHADOWS ON TO SEE MORTRED . WHEN I GET A NEW PC I DOUBT I WILL PLAY DOTA ON IT ( MY SOUL GAME IS "LINEAGE" ) .... I WILL GET SAFELISTED BTW JUST TO SHOW U THAT U ARE NOT SPECIAL AND NONE OF YOU SAFELISTED PLAYERS ARE ABOVE THE OTHERS . i could post a replay of me playing from a net caffe but i do not bother coz i dont find it so important to be safelisted and not play ss games from home .

3. IF U DOUBT MY SKILLS I CHALLENGE U TO 1V1 AROMSHNP , i prommise i will be more of a challenge than you consider me to be . ( me , a non-safelisted player has won several games of 1v1 vs safelisted players ) , i will post the replay in the 1v1 thread in dota section , and here and on your clan forum , if i loose i will have proven my skills to be worthy of a safelisted oponent , if i win .... then you will feel the sky comming down on you ;)

4. YOURS SHOULD BE THE MOST RETARDED REPLY OF THE MILENIUM .

5. THE PLAYER I AM TEACHING HAS STARTED TO PLAY DOTA 2 WEAKS AGO . SHE ALREADY LEARNED TO PLAY LUNA , TRAX , SNIPER ( SKILLBUILD + ITEMBUILD FOR AVEREGE PUB-PWNING PLEASURE ) , the object of the games is to make the noob feel good , to have a good score k/d , so far she learned in 2 weeks how to deni a towr and how to deni alied units , not to mention she won a 1v1 game vs a pub gamer with me as refree telling her what to do on private .

6. WHY DONT YOU TRY TO PLAY DOTA WITH A PERSON WHO HAS NEVER PLAYED BEFORE IN A PUBLIC GAME AND I ASURE YOU THAT THE GAME WILL NOT END IN YOUR FAVOR ( THAT IS OFCOURSE IF YOU DONT PLAY SOLO , YOU MUST ALSO TEACH THE TEAMMATE , NOT STEAL HIS CREEPS AND TEACH HIM TO KILL )

7. I HATE A SMARTASS-SAFELISTED DOTA PLAYER LIKE YOU WHO THINKS HE IS ABOVE THE NON-SAFELISTED PLAYERS .

This is a rather wrong statement. You can`t "learn" a hero properly while you don`t have an understanding of all the other heroes and that`s because you don`t know their spells and capabilities and because of that you will fail to play "luna, trax, sniper" properly and that`s why you don`t learn just a hero or hero after hero.
My suggestion play ar games and don`t teach him to play em games. I`ll explain that also if u want.

its easyer to learn to play with heroes that have passive abilities :) for start .

and btw man .... she is the kind of person that wants to have fun and not to learn to play dota . i won the games by myself actualy whyle controlling my hero and also her hero :)

she already quit dota but she had fun playing with me :)

whatever http://l.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/76.gif you were just like her when you started to play dota , do you remember the days in whitch you were killed by the creeps because u didnt know how to avoid taking dmg ? its the same with her only that i healed her or that i positioned her hero in a safe place to farm http://l.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/3.gif this way she didnt die like a normal noob would die and she learned the meaning of the game faster than a normal noob would .
