I doubt that Spain will win...Russia showed a lot in this tourney, not in winning good teams, but in their gamstyle. However Spain ain't bad too, hard to predict :)

Since that first group D match and the 4-1 result a lot changed for Russia,
1) The central defenders pair changed, becomin more reasonable
2) The whole team defence became more tight, closin spaces better and the midfielders line gettin back a lot more often to support their defence
3) Arshavin came into the team after his suspension
4) Pavlyuchenko understood he cant keep tryin to score from long distance and now holds up the ball passin around to open play for his teammates

Overall, imo

Russia's strong points:
1) Superb teamwork, players find each other with "closed eyes", results in creatin easy chances for goal
2) Constant runnin up and down the field, endless stamina
3) Guus Hiddink, masrtermind
4) Certain key players whom i regard as (why not) even top class, Zhirkov - Zirianov - Arshavin - Pavlyuchenko

Spain's strong points:
1) Best passin game, combined with 2 top class strikers at front, can create situations for goal anytime, especially against NOT closed up defences like Russia's isnt
2) Fast and experienced in high lvl competition defenders, ideal for catchin up those sneaky little russian devils
3) Better options on the bench
Spain's key players are rather dissapointin so far so they're not to be counted

Yes they play the best man, their one touch passes showed us how football can be great game, and that kind of passes requires skills from all players you cannot underestimate one single Russian player, they are perfect, now if they show that vs Spain today(they lost vs Spain already, but they improved alot) they won this match 100%... i have one more thing to say, i expected this kind of football from Portugal, Spain, it's fast you know, but Russia really surprised.

While villa was in game they could do something but when fabregas substituted him they've got 5th player there so they had no chance to organize a decent attack and arshavin was totally cut.. If he wanted the ball he had to go back but as attacker, just no way he could get it... I hoped that russia will score on counter attacks but defense of Spain did a good job, also.

Russia lost clear and fair, and they had to do it with an awful performance, but they should be happy..russian ppl, and all who like them in the world includin me;P Happy because they did play beautiful football in 3 of their matches, happy because they made it to the top4 in Europe for this year, happy cause they have a squad of 26 years in average, and if u dont understand what this means, it means that this team can continue together till the next Euro, and be experienced, more determined, and more bond than ever. U know what the funny thing is, like Nenad said, its true, that when Villa went off and was replaced by Fabregas, match ended for the russians. Torres alone at front is the same dangerous as with pair, he still managed trouble two defenders, simply because russians couldnt play man to man anymore but had to zonal mark and thats wrong against strikers like Torres with incredible speed, agility, dribble.
Fabregas started throwin forward his incredible passes, with some help from Iniesta mostly, Senna holds as a rock back interceptin every attack Russia tried to make..as a result, the russians blacked out, couldnt even get the ball close to Spain's area, and that was over for Arshavin and Pavlyuchenko..they're both great with ball on feet but not when they cant get it first;D
Unfortunately it wasnt the best match of the tournament like i hoped it could be, mainly because Russia was in a bad bad day.
