This group is so intense, that we cannot know who will pass to the next round, until the final whistle of the 3rd group round game.

I even haven't got a prediction.. but if we draw ( 0-0 ), and Netherlands wins France, and in the following games we draw with Netherlands ( even thou we can beat them, as we did in the preliminaries ), and Italy draws with France, we qualify with 3 points and no goal scored. Pretty convenient...

My prediction: a super defensive 0-0 game, thou italians will play in their own style - trying fast scoring and then mass defense whole game.

Well my friend , i think that Romania will make a tie but i`m optimistic and i belive that they will win>Why do I say that ? Simple.Italy will attack all game and we will catch them on counter attack and i belive that we will score.Anyway if i have to make a bet ... i`ll bet that Romania will score against Italy(100%).

What you sayd above ... i totaly agree with you.We can qualify even with 3 points(3 draws ).This is not a shame to qualify like this , if we think what teams we hade in owr group.I say that if we will pass true groupe stage we will reach at least semi-finals.:thumbUP:

I don't think so. If you reach the 1/4s (2nd place in group C), you'd have to face, probably, Spain...

and about this one, I think Italy will play 100x better than what they did vs Netherlands, so they win this one.

Before the game, if some1 told you we would be equal 1-1 with world champs, you would be extatic. Now you ask for 10-1 ? Get real. Good job Romania, I think this is no coincidence, world champs threw everything they had and still lost, that was their best.

Lobont was by far the best player from the game, and Buffon had a mega imba luck , the ball went into his hand then into his leg , ofc he didn't control that . If the ball wouldn't have touched his leg it would have been a goal . Italy played good but they were afraid to losse, so they didnt force romania's hand

hm...it depends, if Italy and France draw, the ro's are in the clear, if romania somehow beats netherland (which i highly doubt) they are in the clear, but if they....bah it's still too many calculations, the final 3rd round will decide. this "death group" really justified its name

(b)Goal difference resulting from the matches between the teams in question (if more than two teams finish equal).
(c)Greater number of goals scored in the matches between the teams in question (if more than two teams finish equal).
(d)Goal difference in all the group matches.
(e)Greater number of goals scored in all the group matches.
(f)Coefficient of points from the last two qualifying competitions for the final rounds of the 2006 World Cup and Euro 2008 (points gained and divided by the number of matches played).
(g)Fair Play conduct of the teams (final tournament).
(h)A drawing of lots by the Organising Committee.

There is no need to apply criteria (g) & (h) at this year's championship because the only teams with equal coefficient under criteria (f) are teams of Romania & Germany (ranked 5.), Greece & Poland (ranked 10.) and then Russia & Turkey (ranked 13.) - teams that were drawn into different groups anyway.

That's what I was saying too..

1) they won't play with their best squad;

2) they will rest their players for 1/4s;

3) we won them in preliminaries and drew at Amsterdam, so the odds are with us, even if they're playing a lot better now;

4) they got interest France and Italy not to pass out of the group;

I think this will also be a game with an unpredictable result. We could win if they don't surge as hard as they could like they did against italy/france, we could draw if they give some effort, we loose if they go like robots again and score every shot. We beat them in preliminaries, not its different cause both teams are playing better, I don't know what to say. Guess time will tell.
