Eurobattle.net Custom Game Tournaments RULES and SYSTEM
Originally based on classic tournaments (PG) rules.

1. Every new tournament will be announced here and you can register, check grid, download/upload replays, etc. under Custom Game Tournaments (http://eurobattle.net/forumdisplay.php?f=447) section, each tournament will be handled by a thread separately. Direct link: www.eurotour.net.tc (http://www.eurotour.net.tc)

2. Every tournament will have its own rules and system according to the map to be played. For example, F. Frenzy tour can be played as Team FFA, bo1 and finals bo3; while Warlock can be played as FFA, bo3 based on scoring.

3. Every tournament will have its rules listed under each one's thread, under Custom Game Tournaments (http://eurobattle.net/forumdisplay.php?f=447) section.

4. Tournaments organized by a grid (team vs. team and solo tournaments) will be played on the following system, i.e. time limit to upload the replay, counting from the date when the match was announced:

1 vs. 1 games must be played in 48h;
2 vs. 2 and higher games (3 vs. 3, etc.) must be played in 72h;

Note: this is the LIMIT time and there will be no tolerance! Absent players/teams will be disqualified! If someone does not play the game right in time after his/their match was announced, his/their opponent(s) will be forwarded to the next round. Please report your opponent's absence to a Tournament Manager. Constantly not playing your games may lead to tournament ban (see rule 12).

4b. Games played on a different map version from the previously specified at the referred tournament thread will not be accepted, and all the players involved can consider themselves automatically disqualified.

4c. After playing your tournament game, do not forget to upload the replay at referred tournament's thread using the Manage Attachments (http://eurobattle.net/showthread.php?t=35366) function. Once done correctly, a tour admin will watch it and check the winner/loser, and then update the tournament grid. Please be patient, it will not take longer than 24 hours.

Note: avoid the use of third-party file hosts, such as RapidShare and similar.

5. Tournaments NOT organized by a grid (Team FFA: team vs. team vs. team and FFA: 1 vs. 1 vs. 1 tournaments) will have a scheduled date and time when the game(s) is(are) going to be played. For example: "The Gem TD Bracket A match will be played on Tuesday - May 29th, at 17:30 Server Time"

Note: players should always gather at channel W3-TOUR at defined game's time and date. There is a 10 minute maximum tolerance. Absent players/teams will be disqualified!

Note 2: do not miss your games! Players that miss a tournament game twice are passive of banishment from future tours (see rule 12).

Note 3: it won't be allowed to download the map while inside the tournament match room. Always make sure you already have the correct map version inside your Maps/Download/ folder before the game date. For instance, every tournament thread will contain the correct map to be played available for download.

5b. Games will be hosted by a defined host, provided by Eurobattle.net. Every game will be observed by at least one tournament manager.

5c. If the game ends (for instance, game ends when 50%+ players are dropped) because of fatal error, disconnection, etc. game will be re-hosted. For minor problems such as any lower amount of players dropped than just specified, game can be remade ONLY if all the sides agree on it; however, this second can only be done at the first 15 minutes of play.

6. If you suspect any player of cheating in a tour (MapHack), you should talk with tour administrators. All proofs will be posted in hacks forum and punishment is the same as if the game was played on ladder!

7. Primary map pool*:
Footmen Frenzy
Uther Party
Castle Fight
Warlock
MaD Balls Arena
Tropical Towerwars
Element TD
Gem TD
The Weakest Link
Pudge Wars
Archery Tactics

*There is a possibility that more maps can be used.

8. Tournaments can be made at any time. Check Tournaments' calendar. (http://eurobattle.net/calendar.php?c=3)

9. The registration period for a tournament may be ceased anytime by a tournament manager.

10. Any other thread about tournaments will be deleted without reply, so spammers are not welcomed! For map suggestions use the Map Selection thread.

11. If a player requests no-obs in his game, you may not observe, unless you are the host/admin.

12. In case of cheating, bad mannered players, not obeying the rules above or continuously avoiding games (giving free-win), tour admins have the right to kick player from current tournaments or/and ban him temporarily/permanently from next ones.

Note: CG Tournaments banlist may be viewed at http://www.euroxpam.site90.com/.

13. For instance, in a tournament brackets/player list, names will be always shown following the form: "<server account> (<forum account>)", for example: "DooVe (Rake)" or "Herr (same)" (as for me, my server and forum account are the same) making it easier for you to contact your opponents: in-game or by sending a forum private message (http://eurobattle.net/private.php?do=newpm).

[B]General notes:

An "@" before a player name in the tournament brackets means that the user got free-win on the previous round (see rule 12).
Games subjected to rule 4 may not be observed by anyone who has/had the same IP address as any player in there. Else, game will be taken as fraudulent and punishment measures will be applied.
Tournament admins reserve the right to modify these rules at anytime without notice.
