Many people are mistaken to the theory that communism is a bad thing. The idea is actually really good and it is supposed to have the same result as marxism according to Karl Marx.
In a marxist society there would be 0 poverty. Let me say that again, ZERO poverty! Everyone would be treated equally and there would be no such thing as racism and descriminattion. Communism is supposed to lead into marxism. During the cold war the Americans exaggerated on the con's of it. But of course, Stalin did change the idea of communism and it turned the USSR into a permanent totalitarianism. A proper communist society would be temporary totalitarianism moving smoothly into marxism.
I hope you guys understand what I'm saying because I know that people are not sure of what communism really is. There are 2 meanings today; a) everyone is equal b) stalin's form of communism. If you are still unsure of what I am saying and you're still interested, I strongly recommend the book/movie; Animal Farm. It is basically an allegory of the Stalin Era.
For people who understand what I'm on about, read on.
Today in developed countries there are still people who work and earn close to nothing. Marxism erases this problem instantly where as individualism does not. Individualism is a core of what America is made up of today. "Hard work and planning pays off". We all know this is not the case, there are people who work their arses off and can't even afford a proper 3 sets of meal everyday.
I am not saying that marxism is flawless of course. Both sides have their pro's and con's. In a marxist; ideas, inventions, economic growth are supressed.
What do you guys think of all this? I hope someone posts something sensible as I am eager to explore more on this.
