Quiz mini-game
Quiz mini-game gives You an opportunity to answer questions related to Warcraft universe and to be rewarded with colored forum custom titles.
Quiz rules:
- One Quiz lasts for one week. Every day,at a random hour Quiz Bot named Hint will login on server at a random channel.
Quiz Bot will be online for 5 minutes and will then log off.
Note : The default command of finding out where an user is ( channel or game ) can be done by typing /watch account.
Example : /watch Hint
- There is no need to sign up, everyone can participate.
- Contestants will have to look for our bot ( "Hint"). Those lucky enough to find it will have a chance to answer 1 question and thus gain 1 point.
- Players who want to see the question have to type "hint" while being in the same channel as Quiz Bot,and expect for the question to be asked.
Participants will then have to whisper the answer to Hint. The bot will notify the users in channel when the question is being answered correctly,then log off.
Note : If the correct answer is not addressed to Hint in those 5 minutes he's logged in,the bot will leave the server,rejoining server at another random hour,repeating the question.
- User correctly answering the question first will get 1 point.
-Only 1 question per day will be asked,until it is being answered.
Note : If the question related to a particular day hasn't been answered,it will be repeated until someone will get to the end of it and finds the correct answer.
-Player with the highest number of points is going to be rewarded with a Quiz Winner medal visible below posts count. In case of equal score, player who won the last becomes a winner.
Note : Champion of the previous contest can still play in the next Quiz,thus gaining the chance of keeping his custom title for another week,in case he wins.
(optional for voting: Players which finish with 2nd score gets a +1 bonus point for next week Quiz.
Bonus point is marked separately from the score win by answering Quiz questions)
- User(s) summing up to 30 points playing Quizzes will be granted an extra 1 month colored forum custom title,starting with the beginning of the week.
However,the owner of the 1 month reward custom title can't participate at the Quiz mini-game for 3 weeks counting since the time he started enjoying it.
This way he can play Quiz in 4th week of the month and possibly prolong title for another week if he wins again.
-User(s) will only have 1 chance of finding the correct answer.
If you're replying incorrectly to the question or hint our bot addressed you,your answers will not be considered in that particular Quiz.
Good news !Winners of the weekly quiz will receive,as a bonus a 27x27 Quiz image http://xs127.xs.to/xs127/08225/quiz217.png,found in their profile,along custom tournaments ones ( if existent ).
- Players can check their score in separate <Quiz Ladder> topic. Score is updated daily with the exception of saturday.
Notes : - Unless you type 'hint' while joining the channel our bot is,the question will not be asked
- Once you get the question,whisper the answer to the bot.If the bot does not reply,it means your answer was not correct,and you have to try again.
- The bot will only tell you if your answer was correct,nothing else.
Be advised that questions are created completely by us so they are not to be found by google,wikipedia or any other search engines.
Questions may need general knowledge of Warcraft plot
(including Warcraft 1, Warcraft 2 + expansion, Warcraft 3 + expansion, WoW + expansion/s, books),
in-game units, skills, spells, units quotes, items etc.
