Just thought you would like to watch this awesome video.
I guess many of you have no idea how big the universe is......well, just see it by yourself.
Hope you enjoy.

Here's another nice video where you can see how small our planet really is.

Both clips are breathtaking. In the second one, I'd add that theres one star (canis major) even larger than the last one, and the biggest one possible would be roughly 2 times larger than the last one.
So, nonbelivers, tell me now, aliens don't exist ?

Ye great videos... But imagine how we all are small dot in universe... Maybe our galaxy is that much small as that two people which have picnick...

I just saw a "galaxy crash " in newspaper last day,.. It is about how 2 galaxies hit each other . and the reaction is unbelievable. It was taken by a hubble satellite. And the funny part is that it happened 500 millions years ago (i might be wrong but the numbers are gigantic ) Coz it is far more than hundreds millions of light years. It's so ****en abstract.

Yr skill in what? U mean yr social skills to handle people and be a leader?

when i wrote skill i meant skill as in an ability to make people like you look like hopeless noobs before me and not a skill that makes a grown man write like a child in terms of bad grammar and spelling
on a side note: if you try to pwn me at least put some worthy effort in it
You do realize that you always come victories if you, yourself are the judge? (You need some arrogance and ignorance there as well)
No one needs to "pwn" you, you "pwn" yourself.

Though i wont argue with u about my english knowledge cause yours is supperior that's for sure, i would like u to point out my "grammar mistakes", and i dont suffer from inferiority complex thus be arrogant like u and try to shield my low self esteem. I'm not in a constant competition with others trying to prove that i'm the best. Yr better at english, dota whatever than me, at least i'm not a jerk. Ohh sry, other's dont compete with u, yr competing with them, they dont try to prove anything in the 1st place.

pleas cut your chatter ladies, don't bother others perma-spamming.
imba vids nery, 1st was quite great, the end in particular. i've always wondered about that possibility, you know, the universe being yet another piece of ball or even an atom in the grand scheme of things. it's really astonishing when you think about it. all the people in the world, building our society, aliens on other planets as well, we are so small in terms of space, but is our space, so vast and uncomprehendeble, is it just another piece of stone in the bigger life?? man this surpasses science and goes into philosophy. so glad i didn't watch 1st video stoned

Yeah it's pretty hard for us to even comprehend the word infinite. And the universe is not just infinite, but it's expanding even further. And what if there are other dimensions or universes in some other realms where different laws of physics apply.

As i said, yr definitely a better gamer than me, i dont even intend to be the best gamer i can be. And i also like to compete with others, but especially with myself. But i was the stupid 1 by even starting this argument by not understanding yr joke in the 1st place.

true true.. infinite parallel universes which are boundless.. incomprehensible but proved to exist nevertheless

You're right... at the moment it's just a theory.
And the universe is not just infinite, but it's expanding even further.
Yep, the Universe has been and still is expanding at an incredible rate. I still hope that The Big Rip is proved wrong though.
I, honestly, can't imagine a completely empty universe, without anything and without any chance of having anything again... I guess it's beyond human beings' imagination.
Edit: Btw, if you really like space-related stuff, you must watch History Channel's The Universe Series. It's really a must.
Search by The Universe - The Complete Season One (History Channel) and as soon as you finish watching it, search for the second season :)

How comes ? Where did you get info that universe is not infinite? Einstein would be mad :)

That's our current theory. It doesn't mean it can't be proved otherwise...

nery the parallel universe concept has been proved. have u heard of the so called string theory? supposedly connecting parallel universes by wormholes? well.. it does exist. let me find out some research material for all of u .

Hmm i really dont agree with it. Now think a bit (i don't talk literally).
Imagine that you travel trough universe . As much steps you make , you will always be able to make one more. Its very similar to numbers. If you travel billions and billions of light years away , you will again be able to make a step further. (just keep on imaging that you are going in straith line without space curves etc). If it happens that you cant, that means that you are on the edge, that you found the end. Then i will quote
Infinity describes a thing as having no end, no limit, no boundary or edge, it literally goes on FOREVER, ad infinitum. But lets not stop here, imagine more. You faces the end of universe. But don't you agree that everything what has an end must exist in something? Like our planet it looks huge for us but it has an end , at its placed in our sun system. Then again our solar system looks really huuuuuuuge but again since its ended it must be in something bigger what will hold it where it is. Then our galaxy , then galaxy system etc.
So even if i imagine that universe has an end there must be something bigger what will contain universe and hold it where it is.
You know even if you face a wall there must be something on the other side.
The thing is that in matter of universe nothing is also something. All that dark without air, light or anything physical in it is again space, in signification of ambiance , you can put something there, don't you agree?

Yes, something must "hold" the universe, unless it's infinite. But we humans are 2 limited for the moment to comprehend all of this. Scientist cant even explain how bees can fly, when it's supposed to be aerodynamically "impossible" cause of his body-wings ratio. Pretty ironical that we want to solve the mysteries in the universe, but for now, we cant even solve the problems in our own homes, not speaking of our planet. A scholar once said: "We want to move to the Moon, but we cant even live on Earth."

I saw the 2nd, before, now I'm watching the 1st.
Other inteligent creatures may exist. But no matter how small size we are, you know how tiny viruses are, and yet you get sick and all :)
or by griffin rider: its not the size of the hammer, its how you swing it.
What if we learn to control all that around us.
By many scientists sun will grow larger and consume the planet in 7 billion years, yet if we could control it, we could prevent not only that, we could control weather and much more... what brings the question is human good enough?

1st video is no more available, but nvm...
Size of the universe is far beyond our imagination...
Alpha Centauri is a closest start seen from Earth, 4.3 light years away.
So if we would be able to travel with the speed of light 300000 km/s we would need 4.3 years to get there...
Just like our Sun, almost every star has its planets circulating around..so
Space is really really not even 0.000000000000001% explored not even using Hubble telescope.
Some ppl say that the universe is at least 156 billion light years wide..
If it is not infinite ,I am wondering what is above/beyond...
take a look at this...

Too many theories and no final result. The only thing we could do is to wait untill humanity(science) will evolve to find the answers we seek about this subject.
Universe is a thing that cannot be discussed untill all scientist in the world reach a common answer. Many contradictions, many theories, many examples...

I believe that some day animals or similar creatures will be discovered on other planets (ie, creatures with no noticeable intelligence).
I highly doubt they will find creatures like humans ... ever.
About the size of the universe, as far as I know, it's growing and expanding each second and will reach a point (its maximum) where it will collapse on it self and thus the end of the world would come, ofcourse nothing is 100% proven to be correct.

Maybe this is true but no1 can prove anything about universe. How do they know that universe will reach a maximum point? What if it doesn't reach a point? What if it's already on maximum size?
