We just clean ss. It's not pub channel anymore.
Finally, someone noticed the difference.
A few more thoughts about the gamplay:
1. Some ppl started to be afraid of assuming risks. So they prefer a conventional style, leading to 60-minutes-farming-games. Then they still do a mistake in a 5v5 combat and the game is lost 2 minutes after.
2. Wards placements.
Totally defensive and I don't like it. Ppl saw some movies on tv, where the stars bought wards. So they bought wards, too...but placed them @ runes, to see if they're ganked.
But: the chance to be constantly ganked in ss games is the same to play pubs without quiters; even so, you don't need the wards in those positions, because you know you can be ganked by watching the minimap.
A better use of wards: in the ennemy forest, with only 2 wards you can cover the critical points. All you need now is to BEG your team to come ganking. If this still doesn't work, report them (if you know you're right!) or stop throwing good gold on useless wards.
A good example is one of the last games I played: "ppl, pls gank their forest, we can easily kill them then push" "no, we need wards" "no, we don't need wards, we all know they're there, farming" "yes we do". So I bought wards "ppl, PLS come gank" "ok we come" "look, there they are, let's go". And a 5v2 gank transformed into a 3+1+1 vs 5 because of ppl not coming, or coming too late, and chasing (btw, never chase if not 5). They were too busy farming...but still saying "coming"
3. Play to win, not for your score.
Let the killers take the kills, and when you are not too short on gold don't mind to die just for saving them. Doubled by constant ganking, will make the strongest heroes in your team able to make the difference while midgame. Remember: strong killers will keep you safe while farming. It's like a health insurance.
4. Chickens.
Need a chicken? BUY IT. I never buy chickens I don't need, and I won't go on lane butt-naked only because someone else needs it. Don't tell me about the "team" ****, most ss games you won't see teams, only egocentric players who want to farm more than the others.
You start the game with 600 gold, so spend them wisely. Over 200 spent on chickens you don't need = suicide. As for me: very low hp after a battle? I use the rest of the mana (if any) on creeps and I go full heal for the next one. I won't starve on a lane leaching xp while needing 3 times more to recover.
The funniest thing is most times ppl I have banned in pubs as retarded noobs or leavers come now, imperative, in ss games: "you have to buy me chicken". GO TO WORK, BEGGARS!!!
As a conclusion:
Even if the rules and organisation are a big improvement (thx to the mods), the game quality is still behind the old ss safelist. Don't take it as a whine, take it as an impulse: YOU can play better than this.
