1 : human determined - nuclear war , disturbing the balance of nature , polution , distroying the o-zone layr , global warming ( will result in volcano eruptions all over the world due to the extreme temperature in the earth core the pressure will rise ) , ice age ( determined by the blocing of the sun due to polution clouds , smoke )

2 : nature determined - asteroids , the death of the Sun ( after some bilion years there may not be an Earth )

lal 5000years no way.. it has another 4.5billion years to go before the helium to carbon fusion starts which will result in sun;s mass expansion to about 400times and it will gobble up mercury, earth will become a desolate wasteland and btw sun cannot end in a supernova due to the chandrashekar limit which says a supernova requires a minimum of 1.5 to 2 solar masses for that..
