i can not host games...?

hi people,

1)how come i can't host games? i can join others' games but when other ppl try to join my game, their screen freezes for a couple seconds and it says there's something wrong..... please help

2)also, how do people ping and apply blist to their hosted games?

For the first problem, if an error occurs when someone tries to join take a Print screen and post it here, if no one can join in the first place, try these
