Very strange problem!

I hosted private clan game. Unusualy for me (that means I don't do it normaly) I allowed all trafic with firewall. I did that in the afternoon already (because I have to allow hp viewer everytime I join...) and I got "Your connection has been lost" while in chanel!

So We played for about 15 minutes, and suddenly, 2 players lagged. It waited 20 seconds and then disced all players off the game, only me and another friends stayed! After I quit game, I got disced by the server.

Then I logged on and visit clan chanel and got disced in few seconds. I went to windows and set firewall to custom again and problem was solved.

It looks like firewall blocked connection, and my connection was lost and players disced, but HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN ONLY BECAUSE I ALLOWED ALL TRAFIC??? And why only my friend didn't got disced?

Yea i know this problem. You see , when i turn on Warhammer Dawn Of War and Warcraft 3 and connect them both to net , i get disced in war3 always. I hope u understand it , i think ur problem was that u had more then 2 things on which were using ur hole net. That's my answer :)

Maybe when u put ur firewall down one spyware or virus are making use of internet =\ just put exception on firewall dont turn it off...

@keka: I didn't have anything open except things I need for w3, but it shouldn't disc even If I have mozzila open...

A agree about ISP problem because i had same problem few months ago :) , I was getting dischacked in every game even if i am host , i would have lost conn too to bnet. That's because u net is sending / reciving low Numbers of packets

I am 100 % sure it's in the ports , check if some ports are matching ... I had similar problem .

Hmm, it never hapšpened before, just when I allowed all traffic, so I guess it can't be anything wrong with net.

I will see if I get this problem in the future.
