Both disconected from SS games I've played today. I don't care if bot was reason or not(it's unbelivable that bots dropping always same ppl). They just ruin my and my friends(I've spend nearly hour to make them play ss game) games. If bot randomly disconnect you, DON'T play games hosted by bot. And there's no excuse in rules for disconecting from games hosted by bot.

anyway its not leaving... its DC... first time happened today and i am not playing till it gets better...

Actually i disagree with you the bot disc problems, they are and exist for real. For example if you wanna know if it was really unplug or disc from bot it is simple.

1. If you are disconected by bot you will be in channel right after you exit game.
2. if you not in channel or in war3 then you had ISP problems or power down etc.
3. If you quit the game normaly bot will say Players has left game.
4. My bot works very well sometimes like 1 hour playing no problem then it disc 1 or split server and i tried all version of bot.
5.To not join bot game is not a solution, noone wants to play on host without bot and beside we still more players to ss channel.

My friend have also problems with bot but it wasn't just clear drop. It was like desync and so all.

In pubs average number of leavers is even lower than in normal hosted games, so... chance that common player get dropped is same as in games not hosted by bots. Also there's small group of players that are dropped half times when they play games hosted by bots.

So... bot disc is same feature like ISP failure, electricity turned off for some time and similar. And as in such should be counter as nonintentional leaving. If you want play on bot you agree to take a risk.

And it's nearly impossible to get -4 rep point in one month for disc from random events.

yes indeed but what to do its the bot that dcs you but because of that we cant say that we wont use bot ever again...

if wanna see if is unplug or bot disc do /whois player who left, if he in channel or online then are 90% chances of bot disc. if not online then is the case of unplug of various motives

It happens, I know you're angry but we cant give -rep points to all who d/c. Isnt their fault, it's the bot.I can -rep them only if you can prove to me that they werent online exactly after they d/c. In this case it's their fault(computer, isp problem , etc) and we can give -1 rep point.

We will talk about this , to make a rule . Until then if someone drops fast use /whois <nick> , if hes online that means that bot dropped him , if hes off that means its his fault.

Being dropped by bot is same your fault as problems with electirity or W3 error. if you are dropped bcos electricity goes down it isn't your fault. so why you get -1 rep? it's just unintentional leaving. and there's -1 rep for it. So what's diffrence between random encounter in rl and dropping by bot? in both situations there's no player fault.

Also bnet drops me in middle of 90% games so checking if someone is on bnet just after he drop is useless.

Maybe you think it's the same, but it's not really. We really cant blame a player if bot disconnects him, if we'll start giving -1 rep for each disconnect, we'll ran out of players in one week.

Bots sometimes go crazy and there is nothing we can do about it.

When was that? maybe because we didnt knew of this bot problem? Anyway -1 rep wont harm to anyone, unless you already have -3 :P.

Well yes, it expires in 3 days so not a big problem, but I think there should be a rule that when bot dcs you, no -rep given :)

It's not that a bot is dropping people :D It's not a bot's bad programme, nor a bot's malfunction. People are dropping from games hosted by bot because of poor connection. It's the same drop as in normal game. The difference is, that in normal game you see 45 sec countdown when someone has a delay. And in a bot's game, there isn't the countdown, and no info that player was dropped!

When a player left normally, bot says: "<player> has left the game". When a player discs/unpugs/force exits, then bot doesn't say anything.

So, you create different rules for people who are dropped from normally hosted games, and for people who are dropped from games hosted by a bot.

So great... I will get ALWAYS -rep when bot disconnect me becouse after each game I'm offline(bnet disc me in half of 90% games) and after each game i have to relog to bnet.

And as you said -1 rep won't harm anyone unless you have -3. And also most of discs isn't reported especially when player haven't any ingame couse to leave(like: your team is losing). So argument that we lost most players in no time due to bot discs is false.
