About "Guard spamming"

My thoughts are:

1. Announcing gn every 20 sec is not spam. One game, it happened that 3 ppl entered our game exactly after entering bnet, because of the messages they saw. They would enter pubs otherwise.

2. STOP ASKING PPL TO QUIT PUBS.
I play dota since classic 1.0 and I NEVER left a game, and I won't do it for some whiners who think they're more important than my friends, or more important than my image in my own eyes. More than this, sometimes ppl come and they're kicked from the ss games some minutes later.
Wanna play? advertise your gn!

3. You see ppl who just enter pubs instead the game you are in? Just think before spamming bull$h17 on guard:
- maybe then know they lag to that particular host and don't want to ruin their or other ppl's fun
- maybe they need to afk sometimes (or eat on the keyboard) in the next 90 minutes and don't want to do it in a ss game
- maybe they want to avoid some bad mannered ppl in that game...someone like YOU, for example

Maybe the admins have their own oppinions but...

Live and let live, have fun and respect the ppl who let you enjoy your time, that's what I chose.

I think warkaholic has some point here, but spamming every 2 sec is spam, and it happens most of the time

I though once to leave only mods + hosts the ability to call for a game, but this way is better maybe...

Man, don't complain about admins applying rules...only rules keep ss channel alive. Without -rep, everything will go pub-like. I strongly encourage ppl to use -rep posts for every reason it's necessary :)

I admit I'm rude: I don't need more than 2 seconds to /ignore ppl or Guard :laugh: so I'm not so affected by spam...but other ppl may be :)

The basic idea for "good" and "wrong" should be: if you don't like it to be done to you, then don't do it. It's like @n@l sex ffs :noob:
