Hello fellow debaters.
I would like to present to you a new topic which involves a Trial done in 2004 in Kansas Pennsylvanian.
In 2004 the Dover Area School District chose to Introduce Intelligent Design as an Alternative theory to the Scientific theory of Evolution. They Agreed to proceed with a 1 Minute Statement in every lesson which included Evolution which stated a few things such as "Theory of Evolution has "Flaws" which means it is not a Fact, it is only a Theory etc." Which raged many scientists in the Scientific community as well as parents in that area.
11 Parents filed a law suit against the school and brought in the United States Federal Court. There was no Jury and the Judge decided the Outcome. Instead in the Jury seats were filled with very experienced Scientists and reporters as well as the Grand Grand child of Charles Darwin.
Many known and Experienced Scientists were called to the stand and explained Evolution, as well as scrutinized Intelligent Design.
The Judge was asked to judge upon this question; "Is Intelligent design a Science Subject or is it simply Religion undercover" If the Judge decides its not a Science it will be banned all over the United States, since it violated the Constitutional Rights of Citizens of America.
My Opinion: I was shocked to see this attempt by these people to give same amount to Evolutionary Theory and Intelligent Design, but i new it will be impossible for this to happen since, Intelligent Design is a term used simply to hide the actual meaning, Creator and Creationism. Of course Intelligent Design got Banned permanently since it is not Science, furthermore they got Crushed by the Scientific Community since they produced huge amount of Evidence, huge piles of Scientific Evidence proving that Evolution is simply a scientific fact, as well that Intelligent Design didn't have any kind of empirical evidence.
Furthermore exactly when the actual Law Suit began, there was a huge scientific discovery in favor of Evolution which simply crushed Intelligent Design. Transitional Forms were found at the exact moment when the Court started. Tiktaalik a Transitional Form which is a transition between a fish and amphibian.
