First u should Forward the Ports 6112 TCP and 6112 UDP ... but for Sure forward by 6112 - 6119 TCP and 6112 UDP , there's a treads explaining that already... Atention : u SHOULD forward 6112 UDP if u dont forward that then u will never host i think...
Now that u forwarded ur ports , u need to configure ur Firewall properly to Allow Ports 6112 - 6119 TCP and UDP, if ur firewall is Windows XP SP1 Firewall Here goes how to do that: Menu -> Control Panel -> Conection Options -> (Ur Conection) -> Propieties -> Avanced ->
If ur firewall is enabled Then the Box should be marked ... if not then it is not active... It is absolutely NEEDED have a firewall On when u forward those ports cause then u will get vulnerable to attacks , Go to Configurations , ADD and then Just Fill the infos... Now u Should do a Static IP adress ... to do so go Menu -> Control Panel -> Conection Options -> (Ur Conection) -> Propieties -> TCP / IP -> Propieties
Then Let this window open and go to MSDOS and type ipconfig /all u should get a lot of infos... now u just need to fill the Boxes with the infos that the ipconfig gave to u... if ur DNS server starts with 192.168... Then ur DNS Server should be wrong... to config it rightly u should call ur Service Provider and Ask then the Right DNS Server IP... I just get like 3 months trying to Correct this error and i discovered this... hope that helps!
