Yesterday , I have been playing in Battle.net normally . But , today early in the morning (around 00:30) I tried to connect and I couldn't. And I can't connect all day ! I checked <linkmonitor> and it says that the server is ok. If the server is ok then why can't I join? The only change I did from yesterday was to download the drivers from my NIC so the banlist could indentify it. (and it did) . I don't think this is the cause why I can't connect . I learned after that the server restarted. Has anything to do with this ? I re-installed the game and all patches-connector program , but nothing .

Anyway , I tried to download the registry (thnx for the help in other post) but I can't find the directory : :[ H K E Y _ C U R R E N T _ U S E R \ S o f t w a r e \ B l i z z a r d E n t e r t a i n m e n t \ W a r c r a f t I I I
to extract the files too . I tried to run <search> in my computer (with the hidden files ticked) using key words (such BlizzardEntertainment) but it didn't find anything (only the Warcraft files in which I installed the game) .

Well what should I do now? Should I wait for server to completely restore itself after the restart?

Yes. I have already downloaded the registry. But I can't find the directory in my pc to extract the files to. I am not sure if this solve the problem anyway.

Many others have the same problem like me . Yestarday they could connect, but today they can't.

You don't have to extract it, you have to run it...

Problem solved! I thought I had to follow all the details in Moonstar's thread. But I didn't know know I had to just run it. That's why I was searching for the directory. Maybe this should be done only if registry doesn't open normally.

Thnx !
