Let me answer that:
because it's written there "Banned Users", so he thought that it'd work for channel ban too, you could've explained him the difference between a server and a channel ban.

But, in anyway, I'd also post on that section because nothing is there to specify which kind of ban should be appealed there. You could at least enlighten us, what do you think? Thanks, and I'm sorry to bother this un-ban proccess.
