true, bane is the best hero for 2v2, he can take care of 2 by him self.

about the right heroes, i used to pick Vengerful+Tiny = Mega tiny dmg + double stuns + imba catching (throwing venga+her ulty) +hard farming... at one word "Divine"

Best combo for 2v2 in midd only...is Tinker + Zeus...their wide ranged nukes makes them perfect for harasing the enemies...and eaven if they dont kill every time, the wtfpwnz0r nukes will make them retreat to fountain every 3 minutes...giving lots of time for Z+T to grow and advance...also tinker's machines are great for pushing....and once they get arcane's they are prty mutch imposible...tell one good combo for Tinker and Zeus and why...and if u state that argument so badly we can go and test it sometimes....

u cant encounter a combo that includes bane elemental... he is blacklisted in 2v2 tournaments... he is just too imba for 2v2... he sleeps 1 for 6 seconds and and other one he ultimates and he and his teammate pwn that guy and then kill sleeped guy

For 2vs2 good team must have strong lane control, heavy disabler and nuker. Lane control is one of the most important aspect in whole game - if u pick melee hero and u will face rly good lane combo like cm/lina i doub u will be able to farm sth more than boots. Picking carry hero like mentioned drow isnt also a good idea, coz u will make 1vs2 game for first 40 minutes, which will equal lose - beside carry needs solo lane and afaik 2vs2 games r mid only, which means u will play on duo lane. About bane - well u can go alone with him against 2 heroes and pwn one of them ;)

Some of the good teams i can think of are: Omni+Abadon >Imba heal
Tiny+Goblin >Tiny with handgrenade ^^
Abadon+Axe >Axe targets Battle hunger and the enamy hero will try a last hit , here abadon makes his move by giving the sield on that creep.
In midgame they would still rock >Axe>Berseker's call > abadon shield on axe and gg

25% spell damage reduction + the head thingy that is made from 2 rings helm of iron will and cape that means +30 damage reduction
and don't forget high armor so lets say 55% spell reduction (scyte) and the high armor with further lowers the damage taken....no big deal

one more thing about imba bane is that his brain sap deals pure dmg. so its not 300 -magic res in dmg but rather always full 300 dmg and hood is not going to help you. i think nightmare is the same but not 100% sure

well your sentry will be seen by eyes in forest which if placed correctly can onyl be seen by flying couriers or flying summons. anyway to counter invis you need wards or gem. to counter eyes you need lumberjack heroes or a big pile of tangos and to counter ult you need linken sphere[it goes through bkb]. all in all thats quite a lot of counters needed for just one hero. while in 5-5 it isnt that much of a problem in 2-2 it is rather difficult to fully counter treebeard

Magna + sand king is good allright, very good actually, but isnt the best, cause they will be dominated before reaching lvl 6. Veno + spectre have no chance of doing anything. Tiny + goblin << wards = gg. Same with venge.

When venom will reach lvl 6 the score will be 0-10, so they will have items, and venoms ulti wont do 1000 dmg, wont drop hp from 1100 to 100. Spectre will just be owned so hard till then, she wont have guts to do anything.

Goblin will suicide, if the other team is noob. You can easily predict when tiny wants to toss goblin since they must approach one another. You also will make hood and tiny can suicide 3 times and you wont die, so tiny will get raped alone.

Venge with tiny is very good combo when played by skilled gamers, can defeat almost anything, could be best combo,but could still be countered by some narub+lina/leshrac very good, maybe only narub is real counter for them, mana burning. Still, even narub cant do **** since all they need is an arcane for 2 spells each, gg...

na + void isnt unstopable...you just dont get it bane > all at 2v2 and that's a fact. bane and suppose a nevermore will rape your void and na...na cant manaburn all day long, just get arcane and void stone on bane and his mana burns wont hurt ur mana and therefore he's useless. As for void, hell be outfarmed, outleveled by nevermore who'll keep him at the distance easily while at lvl 6 they will rape em. Na is annoying but not unstopable.

Firstly atropos will be banned in any reasonable 2v2 game, his 7 seconds of disable on both enemies at the same time are totally imba. Secondly the strat is obviously based on fast push, with tiny clearing creeps and pugna sieging. Expect them to take your second tower by lev 10-11? Its actually pretty hard to stop.
