View Full Version : Vote Map/Registration
My vote goes to the TD one since we could really have great ideas and we have not seen it yet.
Note that all 3 of these maps will take a lot of testing and work. I myself am not experienced with the World Editor, so we ought to need someone more experienced. Here are the jobs:
-Editor, [YT]: Will use World Editor to edit the map from what is decided.
-Tester, Vein: Will spend time testing bugs throughout the project.
-Producer, Shadow-Fury: Will have the proposal on how the map is made, he will explain it to the editor.
-Artist, KeweLi: Will create the images needed for the map. (MINE)
-Assistant, Marshall987: Must gather/organize everyone's ideas in a notepad.
-Uploader, Sargeras_SAE: Uploads the final map to every warcraft map site he can find..etc.epicwar
Everyone must continue to give in suggestions and we will agree upon them as a team.
I offer myself as an Editor.
Well [YT], you aren't in our clan so when we put the presenter of the map in the loading map, we planned it to say "Clan VAMP Presents:". If it's OK with you. :)

i whan be producer since i got a lot of ideas
hmm a nice idea making another map, here are my ideas:
finish the underworld and start rising its reputation on euroBnet, b4 starting another project
OR
edit the UnderWorld, add movie characters (need some1 to study the plot well) and maybe some events
both need Darkness to be active, since we need his permission to edit the map
i can offer myself as a part-time editor
i mean: coeditor, since i can do some triggers, an intro, but i am unable to create (= i've no ideas to be original) abilities (cannot balance well) and terrain (i dunno why, but my terrains suck :D )
that means: tell me what triggers U need to add and i'l do my very best
if i fail creating triggers, there are lot of maps to copy them :read: :)

Well m4, I was thinking about that. Underworld is the project Darkness is finishing on, so we wait for him to finish it before handling it.
For our first project, It's better we do basic stuff, like vampirism. Though it will require a lot of work, there is talent we have here.
Hmm, maybe you can check out the map and add triggers to it after the editor has finished.

I can also help with editor i have some knowledge so i can help with terrain,units and little with trigers.
Testing the map:well i think the best way is to announce testing of map on our forum set the day and time becuse one man testing map...he can find major bugs but those litle ones needs more ppl(the best way ppl who will test it shoud be memb from clan-trusted ones)
Also i have lot of ideas so ill bring some...and if you find them suit will add them.
About gathering all on note i will take that.
And about uploading i have frend who got rely fast conn dl is 2mb on some links so upload is also good dont know exactly but it can be all done in low time only thing is list of war sites with map.
i dont know does "jobs" mean strict one man but up are things i can help-do.Also if does jobs one man only we need some who know editor realy good that way making of map will go lot faster.
Jobs are the ones responsible for that part. If we all share the jobs there will always be left something undone at the end. If the person in charge of that job prefers your help, than you are more than welcome to help him.
Of course we will all test the map, but like i say, one person is responsible for the whole testing thing. He must record all the bugs. Mr42, I want you to take the testing job.
I voted TD,bcs it will be unique(i never saw vamp TD,but maybe it exists)..but now,i think that new vamp map would be good BUT Only if IT IS TOTALLY DIFFRENT FROM OTHERS....

Then i repeat we need realy good editor if map is suposed to be finished soon or by the date you gave someone who have exp and know what are options for not one who will learn it while making map.That is if we gona make map from 0.If we gona edit-change some existing map and add some then all this doesent matter.

Well . . . Since I haven't been active on forum since last June, it would be inapropriate for me to vote for the type of the map.
BUT . . . If you need a Hero Spell/Ability scripter, I'm your man. I know that this doesn't sound very trustworhty, but I've already done a bunch of succesful DotA-like abilities using ability&trigger editor, so if you tell me what needs to be done, I promise to do my best to fulfill your request and prove my worth :) .
I also have some skill with triggers (region-based, time-based, floating texts, variables, hero reviving, limited unit spawning, ability-based and setting victory/defeat conditions. And the game text messages :)).
And if you need a skilled trigger scripter, really ask Mr42 - I've played some of his maps and I can promise you that he IS MUCH BETTER than he admits :).
BTW Sorry Keweli, but since you've scolded me two times already for not posting in the forum, I swear I'll be the good guy from now on :-)
If you decide to give me a chance , just tell me what skills you need to have done.

a new story in the world of vamps(i voted)
but if it gets to tie you can always remove my + since i wont be able to contribute to the map creation, and if you need help with some trigers - as you can see my map - i used very(extremly) simple trigers :) and now my pc is out of busines(so ... :(: )
about the story if we can all get on some program to discus ok( i mean like msn or other that i dont know of)
