well, I didn´t like them too much in the past either - but their new Album is THE ****! They improved alot in every aspect.
And what do you mean by pointless? Their doing their thing, just like all the other bands you named..Or is there a deeper message behind Pantera that I am not aware of? :p
And hell, yea they are psycho - just the thing you need to listen to when you would like to go psycho - but it´s better to just listen :D

allmost every rock band has a specific climate and in my opinion all bands got some specific thing that i like or would like if i've heard ;) that's why i like: sonic youth, radio head,metallica, polish: hey, ira, ona and so on ;)

I like going to a rock concerts, and i think it is a best way to spend free time...

Linkin park is no metal its only pop stylised to rocki it isnt half rock its only rough pop with the japnise guy in the back stage ;).When u want the check the orginality of each song u can noticed that the basses (powtarzają sie nie wiem jak to po englishu powiedzieć więc prosze przetłumaczyć dla nie polaków plis) are revising. I love system of the down, sweet noise, Korn, Apocaliptica Metallica and saint rembered Nirvana and of korz Aerosmith and few songs of red hots (chili pepers yoo)

If you think linkin park is metal is a metal ok but i think its not and not specialy good one .the melodic are simultani revising in the same moments the japanise guy sings his pAart of the text and the same rythm and the same "Love story" if you heard it once u heard the all of the songs.This is how i see it if you dont argue with me ok

to widze że ty polish będzie prościej tłumaczyć :P.Linkin parka sam słuchałem ale gdy zauważyłęm że podkład melodyczny do każdej piosenki jest ten sam i prawie te same głosy do tego w tych samych momentach solówka tego wokalisty.Powiem tak linkin park jest na początku niezły ale jak zauważysz tą zależność to wszystkie piosenki wydająsie takie same wtedy to lekko zalatuje czymś nie powiem czym bo fani tego zespołu by mnie żywcem pogrzebali w burakach cukrowych i tanich wymókach Andrzea.L ale skoro tobie sie podoba to nie stoje na przeszkodzie ale szczerze bardziej preferuje sweet noisa i nie mówie o tych medialnych.I linkin park to stanowczo nie metal w metalu w większości przypadków nie można rozróżnić krzyków od textów piosenki ;)Ale za to go kochamy :D
