Some notes about modern "macedonian" language from wikipedia, as it shouldn't be confused with ancient macedonia, Alexander the great etc
The Macedonian language (Македонски, Makedonski) is a language in the Eastern group of South Slavic languages and is the official language of the Republic of Macedonia. It is also officially recognised in the District of Korçë in Albania. Macedonian is closely related to Standard Bulgarian.
And here is where modern greek comes from
In short, Koine Modern Greek is the natural continuation of Koine Greek, an ancient Greek dialect (known also as the "Alexandrian language") which came into existence after the conquests of Alexander the Great and the Hellenization of the known world. Hellenistic Koine had assimilated many elements from various different Greek dialects (such as Ionic, Doric and Aeolic) but its nucleus had always been Attic (the dialect of Athens). Hellenistic Koine had been spoken in several different forms in the region of Greece and the Greek speaking world during the entire Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine periods, until it took the shape of Demotic in the Middle Ages.

Sorry for double post there seems to be a problem with some special characters, which i removed.
Some things about Macedonia etymology
According to ancient Greek mythology, Macedon - ancient Greek Μακεδών , poetic Μακηδών - was the name of the first phylarch (tribal chief) of the Μακεδόνες Makedones, the part of the Μακεδνοί Makednoi tribe which initially settled western, southern and central Macedonia and founded the kingdom of Macedon. According to Herodotus (Histories 8.47), the Makednoi were in turn a tribe of the Dorians. All these names are probably derived from the Doric adjective μακεδνός makednós (Attic μηκεδανός), meaning "tall". This in turn is derived from the Doric noun makos (Attic and modern Greek μάκρος makros and mekos), meaning "length". Both the Macedonians (Makedones) and their Makednoi tribal ancestors were regarded as tall people, and they are likely to have received their name on account of their height.
I know it's totally off topic, but i don't intend to spam, i'm just showning that there's no connection(other than geographical) between Former Yugoslavic Republic of Macedonia and Ancient Macedonia.

First of all, we're not F.Y.R.O. Macedonia, but it is a political conflict between Greece and R.Macedonia ( Republic of Macedonia ) to call us that way, so I suggest you to step aside...

Stop doing this, saying things like that, cause there is a huge connection between it, I really don't wanna talk about is, but as I recall you were the ones changing the sicrumstances of ex. Macedonia, thank you very much.
Now for the last time, drop it...

As i already said, the only connection is the geographical position, meaning that the land that your country is now, was a part of a wider region called Macedonia about 2000 years ago. Other than that, there's no linguistic or cultural connection.
Anyway i made my point, no further explaining is needed from me, so i drop it as i see no evidence showing the opposite.

You are wrong, and I don't see a way in converting your point of view especially for someone like you being Greek, so... anyway thead is closed, it was a spamground from its beggining.
