Be Aware of the unmentioned hacks

I play DOTA loads

I now have 3100 names on my local banlist for cheating and leaving games.

BR seem to like 2x and 3x hacks. This is where the hero is two to three times as strong as they should be for their level+items

PH and PE majority like endless mana hack. This is where they constantly use their spec abilities with out needing extra mana.

The real pro hackers will even move YOUR man to evade you or attack you.


Chapter 2

Play game 1v1

90% of players I play are hacked. Easy to spot, you will be delayed. Folks like to call it lag. It is not lag. Delay is where you click on something and 1 to 2 seconds later it happens. Lag is where you see waiting for player...

These are the SERIOUS CHEATING here and no mention of it....

Makes one wonder the real purpose of posting here.

Steve, I'm not playing dota... but...

When you click on a unit, give an order and you wait 1 or 2 seconds before it happens, it -is- lag. That occurs because the other player is hosting, and the status of your unit must be updated on host machine before the actual command you gave takes place. It is the same in all games.

When you notice such things, you can "/p" and you'll see your and hosts ping response to eurobattle.net.

However that value actually has no real connection between these lags - even tough many ppl (99.99%) likes to believe it has - because ping response between your machine and host machine is what shows the actual lag.

If you want the real lag value, then you need a banlist which checks the IP addresses of co-players. When you have the IP address, you can Alt-Tab and start command prompt. Then there type: "ping [IP address]", and you will get the real lag value between you and the host. (or you and the player if you are host)

And once again: BR, PE, PH are countries that are far away from you, therefore their ping time is high when they play with you - and it certainly doesn't means they use "unmentioned hacks".

_steve_ , I watched your "Mana Hack" replay and didn't see anything wrong with the ogres' mana points. Early game he would've raped you with infinite mana, and late game he had no problems with a battlefury for regen and with a Scepter. I can only laugh and think of the "3000" people you noted in your banlist, how many of them are inocent.



Even worse, from that replay you seem to have like a 6th sense of awareness about your opponent, either that or a maphack.
