I get really mad when I get kicked by an idiotic and ignorant host, just because I use name spoofer (I like my name in different colours).
Some dude with banlist just has to paste when he sees WARNING! Hugh uses a name spoofer!
And after that, some noob host kicks me.
I enter a game again and say why the hell do you kick me? He sais: ''omg noob, spoof cheat haxxorz'', or some other **** like that.
I don't understand what does name spoofer have to do with cheating.
Today, i entered a game with some guy i banned for leaving, in it.
So i paste ''xxx is a leaver (5v5*) on dota ap eu (6/2006).
And i said to host to kick him, but he didn't reply and after some time, he kicked me.
Can you beleive how that pisses of?

Please, to the forum people: Make some sticky thread about Spoofer and introduce people about it. And clear the difference between maphack and name spoofing.

well first of all i think using spoofer can give u ban from server, if im not mistaken, and second i am against ppl using it, because there will always be ppl using ur nick and messing around, so it just sux.. I would kick u too, because i would feel annoyed by it.

As far as I know, spoofer is legal. And I always use nick Hugh but in different colours.
Just because of estetic reasons. I don't see how does the color of my name affect the game.
I never leave and let's say i leave, you can always type /banlast and ban my real account.
And people who use other people's accounts should be banned, but that doesn't mean you should kick me if I use spoofer.
And if somene has spoofer, that can only mean he's more expirienced in online gaming and that he cares about his name and reputation.
Those kind of people usually play good and never leave.

Spoofer is a hack no matter what and it should be banned as admins already said.

Why? i tell you why:

1-because you can also change your nickname so dont complain if someone go and use spoof change his nick to yours and do "stupid" thinks.

2-Latest spoof hack also come with map hack ~~ so the chance of a spoofer player use map hack is enormous.

3-It can cause several ussue problems to the ladder games.

Spoofer hack will result in ban, ask for hack on forum will result in forum ban.

It does affect the game, its annoying. I'll give you a simple example, since i am the stupid and ignorant here: You take orange color in ur nick and you are the yellow player, and when i ask something to yellow player, i must keep reminding that he actually has his nick in orange, and try not to mess which one of the orange players is the real one, blabla..

From my experience spoofer = lamers that want to fake to be someone else, and/or think found a way to avoid a ban and/or are just annoying ppl, that disturb the game.

My spoofer has nothing to do with hacks. It's just a name spoofer, ffs. It's used to color names. But if latest spoofer comes with hacks, then i guess you're right. But i use older spoofer and i would never consider using hacks because it would be humiliating to myself.
People use spoofer for different things, I use it for colouring my name to make it look cooler.
And btw, in almost every game I get asked where did I get it, so you see, people like spoofing their names.

You should stop insulting ppl just because they not agree you, i kick too ppl with spoofer, because ussualy i can t ban them if they leave, they use some characters that banlist don t recognise, as you know by now is illegal so stop insulting pls, any host can kick you just because if his game, and is ok. Make your own game and use spoofer, see how many will enter your game..
