Fatal Error

Hi guys!

I am new in the Wacraft World. I have just downloaded the game and the frozen throne, install it, and i follow the tutorial that you guys posted. I reseted the game and everything. Well, when i tried to open the game (to play single player or multiplayer on lan) it allways shows a Fatal Error in the game. And then it closes. I have installed the 1.20c patch for the W3RoC, but still the same thing. I don't know what to do. Is good to remind that I dont have any crack, and my game is, lets just say, non legit. I am using the images on the pack that its posted here.

PS: The error happens before i even start a match... i don't even get to the menu... that sux, really do... My computer isn't that good, but its capable to play W3:

AMD Atlhon XP 2200+
XFX Nvidia Geforce 4 MX 128/64
768MB Ram

Ure computer is good to run W3 .. but the problem might be ure warcraft kit .. or u didn't follow the steps good ... however try to reinstall W3 with care.. Good luck ! ;)

Post a screen of the error so i can see the code with that i can possible tell you if its a video/ram/memory/pc/os/game..etc

Yeah, I know that my PC can handle War3. I don't think that more memory is necessary, atleast not for warcraft. Monster, here is the screenshot:

And I have reinstalled several times. And NO, i haven't cracked it yet, 'cause I can't find a crack... not for RoC, or FT. Please, if you can help me... I have even tried some of the steps in the Blizzard support page. Nothing seems to work. If someone has a crack that works... I am using the images from the pack that i found here on battle.net. I don't know who said so, but i have follow all steps in the FAQ...

Acording to the white screene i can tell you its video card -.-.


PS:even if you have enought memory it may still have problems like configurations and etc.

PS: if happens all the time 100% and only in you, you know its your comp problem not host or server.


PS2: About the game err.. Do you use the same version like, update patch for 1.20c and use files of 1.20c ? or you use patch of 1.20c and files of 1.20d or whatheva.

The crack can be found here also; Using the eurobattle.net installer you can crack and add a loader automatically on your desktop; Eurobattle.net Installer for 1.20c can be found on Server information section.

Well, i have just reseted the game, i will install again. The thing is: I can't even enter the game, the error ocurs in the Orc splash screen... you have said that the problem is with my video card. Its strange, 'cause it is not a good video card for atual games, but for old games, it is great... and warcraft 3 is from 2002 or 2003... one of my memory chips is generic, i will remove it and try to use again. I will try to install on other PC. The euro net install, it cracks the game too? I will reinstall the game, the patch for the 1.20c version, and try again... I will edit this in about 30 minutes.

Well, I tested the memories, it seems to be all right with them. I have reinstalled the game, and I apply the 1.20c patch and the Euronet instal, and I tried to open with the shortcut in the desktop. Same thing... Monster, when you said that the problem was in my video card, what do you mean? I mean, the video card isn't that good, but I think that can handle war3. Thanks anyway.

maby u have some problems with ur cd's , have u cracked the w3 after u installed ?

Its because you can see a bug in your screen or your wallpaper is like that? -.-.


It dosen't need to be old /new graphic card, there can be also your drivers that are old or aren't compatible with your video card /game.

np if they are old bcz when u instal 120c it automaticly dowloads new version , like i do .... i have some old cd's from 2002 xD and when i instal it it dlds it from server ... so its not that problem

Can also see direcx setup by typing dxdiag.

I have done all the tests with the directx and all have positive results. The thing of the crack, i have only tried the crack of the euro batlle setup. If you have a crack that works, send it to me plz.

its about the game! look:

0xC00000005 means that its onreg error code.


Possible corrupted file not quite sure about it sorry but if it a corrupted file you could download all again (patch and crack/loader.)


If eurobattle installer didnt work you can search for Acid loader.

Well, i am thinking that can be the CDs, 'cause i donwloaded from a warez site... well, anyway, i have seen that here in eurobattle you guys posted a download link for the game, I will try with that.

This Acid loader, where I can find it? I will try to download one more time the patch and loader. Just to be sure, I don't need to download any crack right? 'Cause i wanna play offline too, and in lan games.

Is this the acid loader? When I finished downloading the game from the link on this site, i installed and tried to launch it with the acid. But it says that needs the version 118. I only have the patch for the 1.20c and 1.20e versions. Anyone knows where I can get a acid loader for these versions?

Well, I find it out... the problem was with a codec pack, that I had installed. Once I have uninstalled, the game runs perfectly.
