I can say from my own experience that noob NEs r going mass hunts from following reasons
1ST Easy Buiding order
2ND Easy micro
3RD Better chance to win using TR
4TH Looks like big army - visual effect
We both know Immortal aint Ne player - so i can understand why he went hunts. Dont be just another jerk who sees mh everywhere even where it is not. edit: ur first fight, u wanned to go to my base, but when u saw ( on ur mh) that i am comming u pulled back, ur secound fight u moved ur catas back,hunts foward ( and all that to your base) such as know that i am comming... ccc

Potm mass hunts is not strictly elf miror. I used to do potm+hunts to chippo, itworked nicely and since i already had 2 AoW, i could make hippo riders a lot faster. (course if they went mass piercing to counter hunts i had to go lores and this often happens:dry: )

Your argument here revolves around the use of the potm. What's the problem?!:wacko: her aura is nice, and the searing arrows at lvl 3 are like a lvl 1 dk coiling everywhere everyhit. Add in a Kotg and you got yourself a nice anti-air army, with the use of hippos, and anti-ground with the use of hunts or bears if mass piercing and chimeras to kill all that heavy ground and you could start a base harass with tose corrosive breaths chimeras.

In this strategy, it is crucial that you out expand you oponent, cause you are aiming for 2 diferent types of tier 3 units and they cost a lot of money.

The weakness of this strat is the tower rush at early-mid game, cause all you got is huntreses and they don't do sh*t to towers. Course, with a couple of glaives with their dmg output increased by the aura and some proper micro, base built you could fend it off, but that is going to sloww you down a lot. The whole point of this strategy imo is thet youmust make your oponent think you are going chippo and than build your lores at a sneaky hidden expansion (prolly his 2nd natural:D, just make sure it's well towered and you have a tp with you just in case )

I know this post is prolly going to get flamed or ignored or whatever, but i'm so bored and have absolutley nothing better to do than write about a strategy that i don't use anymore since i don't play ne anymore.
