The size of map???

In your opinion, what's a good size for a map????
If it gets too large and starts to lag even in a good server, is it worth to make such a large map????

not u admins only :D .... i mean don't post here again if u r askin for something didn't belong to w3 general chat .... but there is section for maps , so that u can post there :) HF .

Lol Activ u missunderstood theg uy (like always :D). He was asking about CG maps hosting in server. His question is: if the map is big and gives lags to server should they stop hosting it? (or smth like that).
@JohanPomppas: Yea agreed. And if the map is new it takes forever to dl it from host not to mention that ppl low RAMs on PC will keep us in same place with the loading of game.

If you ment about creating big map then it better not be over 1.5 mb , only dota can be over it cuz it famous and ppl dl it from the web usually .

So 1.5 mb is the limit for a descent map(not Dota coz it rocks) Thnx for the info u all gave me. I'll make sure NOT to join in a laggy server
