(OLD) Monthly Xpam's 1v1 Tournament's & 2vs2 Tournament's Rules And Stuffs

Working on the Monthly tournament made us come up with some rulles.
Me and Nery are working on it and very soon he'll u'll be able to read all news/rulles/other stuff about the monthly tournament.

Do not post here unless i told u to.
Any other post will be deleted!

Tournament Rules:


1. Tour will start on channel Tourney, in choosen time by organisator ( the date will be fixed by a Moderator [ during the day, not in the night ] )
2. Only semi-finals 3rd/4th place and final will be played by system Bo3 (Best of 3).
3. If game ends because of fatal error, disc etc. game will be rehosted ONLY when both sides agree on that.
4. If u suspect some player is cheating in tour ( MH ), u should talk with tour organisator. All prooves will be posted in hacks forum and punishment is same as the game was played on ladder!!!
5. All replays will be saved and uploaded in appropriate place on forum.
6. Games will be played on maps:

(4)Twisted Meadows

7.Players must agree about the map that will be played in first game.
8.The player that lose first game, choose map ( bo3 )
9. Final and 3rd/4th place matches must be played ( 1st game ) in (4)Twisted Meadows.
10. On channel TOURNEY is forbidden to:

*spam
*sware
*argue with each other
*writing bull****s

11.To register on a Tournament you need to be a player of Xpam. All players can register and we will choose the best16 of them .
12.Register = The Registration must be made in the thread " Registration for the monthly Tournament " or send a pm to Nery/AncientPriest or @ server .
13.If a player is absent, his oponent will qualify, we will wait only 15 minutes !!! Please report the absence to a Tournament Moderator.
14.A player that doesn't show up, cannot participate in any other tournament with that account ( but if he has a VERY good excuse, Moderators will think and then decide if he can or no ).
15.The list of players that will participate will be announced here!
16.Refs may only be trusty players.
17.This tournament will be made every month.
18.Any other thread about solo tournaments will be deleted without reply, so spammers are not welcomed !!
19.On the day of the tournament all players must come to channel TOURNEY where the tournament will be active.
20.Rounds will begin when the moderators say and then u may go play the round and the observer ( a trusty person ) shall report the winner to a moderator and post the replay on the correct section.




Observations:
- date will not be commented
- games will be observed by an user who would assist managing the tournament.
- winners may request operator status in on their clan channel!
- in spite of the lack of prizes, the winners will receive our respect.

*In case of cheating, bad manners in the game or not listening the rulez organistators are making right to, kick player from tournament/tournaments and ban him from TOUR channel temporarely or permamently.
*Some players may need Qualification ( PRE round )

INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENTS :
On invitational tours, me and AncientPriest will 'invite' the 16players, but you need to make a 'request' first.
I hope u will not be upset if u won't get invited but we'll choose the most suitable players. So There will be no Level required all u need to do is post here your wish to get invited, the name of your account,stats as well as the reason why we should invite you. We will contact you.

ps: We hope that with the tournaments players stop cheating and start to play fair, because if we see that any player "skill" does not correspond to the level, he will be watched carefully by admins !

erm... but about idea of making MONTHLY one, ... You'll see thats without sense... Best tournament to organise is for a weekend with 10-16 ppl and play in thoose 2 days. Anyway gl & hf while wasting nerves.


P.S. What about "Small and QuiCk" ? Un-stick it if You wont gonna do it...

Check-in will be closed at 15h/when 16teams already checked in...then a tour-admin will make the brackets and announce them. After knowing who's your oponnent, you just need to find a good host and play, save the replay and report the win to a tour-admin.

Here, you'll CHECK-IN four tournaments!
Remember, this thread remains close until there are only 30minute left to the start of the TOURNAMENT.
As soon as an admin OPENS it, you should check-in, replying, saying "checked in" as fast as possible...'cause ONLY first 16 players/team will be able to play.
After checking-in you must go to channel TOURNEY @server.
Check-in closes when there are no slots left/when tour starts.
Make sure you read the rules fo the respective tournament.

NEXT TOURNAMENT -> 2v2;
CHECK-IN -> 14.30h, server's time 10/02/2007;
CHECK-IN CLOSED -> 15h, server's time 10/02/2007;
BRACKETS MADE -> 15:00 - 15:15;
TOUR STARTS -> 15:20.
