Hi every1,
Okay. So a little about myself. I joined this server a few days ago and believe it or not its my first time playing wc3 online. Ive played Starcraft BW on iccup starting almost a year back and wanted to try wc3 out. A friend from iccup told me he used to play on this b4 he quit wc3 so i thought I'd pick this server. I am a Terran player on starcraft so my current race is Human. If anyone wants to become friends and play together or just chill together feel free to add me as a friend. My ID is iREV. Although english is a must! (Dont speak any other language :( )
I also got a few questions (i havnt searched the forum so i apologize if the same question has comed up in other threads)
What are the basic commands on eurobattle? like whisper, add friend, blocking people, seeing people's stats, see online admins/mods, help. just basic stuff like that. Also is there any basic rules on manner and stuff that i should be aware of?
Also is there any way to adjust the ladder game search mechanism? I'm sometimes paired with people at level 9 or 11 or 14 or 19 and stuff like people way better than me. The number next to the name is rank right? At first i thought it was map spawn location lol! And it seems that my record is 0-2 altho i did win 2 ladder games (1 against NE 1 HU).
Lastly, I wanted to ask how the population is here. Are the people here nice? I think the people is more important than the game itself. If the server is full of rude people just let me now and ill leave. Like this today I went against a NE named Virrus and he did nothing expect threatening to "report" and "ban" and to "maphack" me. While speaking in another language when i replied back. Eventually he won and he was way better then me with a record of like 40+ win and 10 lose. After the game I asked him to clear up what he said in game in english and all he said was "nothig" (probably meant to spell nothing) and went on to talk about me to one of his friend in a language i didnt understand.
Anyways, I'll wrap it up by saying thank you for reading my intro. Hope i enjoy my stay here. WC3 and Dota definately got a different feel from Starcraft and im enjoying the game. Hope to meet many of you ingame and once again to anyone that want to become friends just add me.
