DotA Tournament on Xpam !

I sugest to make Tournament of DotA :D write your suggestion about rulz etc. Tournament will be probably in center of October :]

VERY GOOD SUGGESTION. I've benn waiting for a dota tournament for a long time. No rules suggestion right now just that it should be 5v5 not less.. because the skills and items in dota aren't designed to fewer players that are getting money quicker and easyer. So it will be unbalanced. No pumping either... not more than 1000 at least. Hope the organisation is bette rthat the 1v1 tourney.

Why not make the tournement –ar?? Pick will always turn up like tree; cent; rasta; omni/silencer; maiden/emagma/sven sort of skill vs sladar;sk;magma;spirit(ghost ulti);lich or other aoe mage.

With -ar the thruely skilled people can and will come out. Sure a team can have a little advantage in start when they haven given better combo hero’s. But remember every hero/ combo or spell has a weakness. The opponents should just abuse that weakness.

This can be done by:
• playing style, like for example playing defensive or aggressive
• a good deviation over wich hero should be in what lane.
• And by choicing the right items. Version 6.xx offers a large variety of items. Almost every hero skill can be bought in the form of an item. (buy the skill that is a weakness for you’re opponent).

The best clan will win in most times. And you will see some clans who will be able to counter “better hero” teams. what probably give some good replays were people can learn and improve from.

And who cares if the best clan becomes 2th and the 2th best clan becomes 1th by a little luck….

i h8 -ar -.- it's just pure luck no skill @ all... try playing vs 4 nuke spammers with kotl with 5 agi heroes and u'll know why -ar SUX. If u want a tour played -ar - make ur own ;s

like i said use weakness

strengt mage-->nuke power-->buy hp, armor, magi resitance
silence
weakness mage--> no fighter-->buy bkb and dmg with fighter-->win

and sure some game can be pretty imba but the change is very little u will get a tottaly imba game. lets stand 2 imba -ar.

that change is like 99% :S

- cw is the only dota game where u can try hero combo.
- and there are no immortal combo ^^ its just skill and tw that make your combo imba.
- -ar is only for relax game, for cw its not acceptable.

i would just like too see more varies games not only the 15 so called cw hero's in all games.

a good clan should be able to preform good tw with all sort of hero's put together. and think of a good stragety while playing.

not just the commen blink stun stun stun combo's... wich is used in 95% of all cw.

-ar is not just pure luck...It shows how u can play with all heroes, but i better the idea of chosing from ur race...:D just wanna ask: Can u use -random on the tournament?? I cant chose a hero :D:D:D

Może zamiast turnieju doty dobre by było zrobienie Ligi doty :P coś na zwór powstającej na ESL ligi ... trzeba by było zarejestrować drużynę w składzie 5 osób+rezerwa potem z wybranych skladow stworzyc lige .. na zasadach tez podbnych do esl :P w sumie bylo by to ciekawsze od dlugiego turneiju doty .. tak przynajmniej kazdy z kazdym moglby zagrac i co za tym jeszcze idzie .. pewna gra bez quiterow : )
