Well, I didn't check everything on link which u posted... but I don't believe in time travell and none will never make it... reason is simple... if someone would actually make it in future... someone from future would back to the past allready... well cuz none didn't then... none didn't made it in the future...

is possible for us to travel to the future, and get for example to year 500000. there r locations on space where time is faster than on earth, for instances like if u travel at light-speed u would be able to travel into the future.
However, it makes no sense time travel to the past, because the past doesnt exist, the only thing from the past that still exists are our memories of it.
isnt superman a man, i mean super"man" -.-

good point.... i didn't understood anything...
and that's the perfect explanation for time travel...

well there is a theory about time and space. Its is one thing which goes like river or something and if the path of it crosses, you could go to that point in the past. But that is just a theory.

most of you people didnt learn to live in this time, and you are already dreaming about future?
but, let me test your imagination...
What would you say or ask 10-years older you when you would encounter him in the future?

U CAN TRAVEL IN TIME I STUDY PHYSICS I TRY EXPLAIN
ok eg. 2 twins born at the age 20 one of the twins goes in a spaceship and travles at the speed of light ( MUST BE SPEED OF LIGHT) to a distance in the universe Because Earth time passes differntly then Space time or some **** the one twin comes back 2 earth in around 50 years time so one twin is 70 yo and other is 20 and a half or 21
PS IMPOSSIBLE 2 TRAVEL BACK IN TIME /damn

sikora... pls spear me with the twins paradox... it has never been tested, why the hell everyone uses it as an example...
'( MUST BE SPEED OF LIGHT)' ... LOL... u think God made it ****ing special or what?
this is not about passing a limit, after wich time distors... this may be about accelerating the moving speed of the molecules (by increasing the move speed of the object), that will determine a faster evolution of the matter.... (understood anything?)

well ive read that it is true. Various space particles come to earth, where they shouldnt be coming, thus they should not exist there, but they do! In fact, those particles travel at the speed of light and that allows them to travel through time as someone posted above.
btw i study physics too ;)

great... And can any1 confirm that, or should I believe in what the scientist say?
people said that they can use telekinesis, that they were on moon, that Hitler is not a danger to the world, that number 13 is unlucky, that The oldest person is 969, that average human eats 8 spiders in their lifetime at night and that the windows will be buggles...
Cmon... what's the point... Even if it is true...That means that there is countless number of "times" that you can go to... and when watching that for a psychological view the human brain could not keep up with that kind of confusion...
and even If we could survive that kind of preasure to our minds, Imagine what kind of the world would it be...
man... these things are not for us.
its stupid to be a GOD wannabe...
So I shall ask you one more time. Forget about this senseless thread, we could go like this forever!

we are not acting like god wannabes, i was just stating facts, for example. Then you say that a meter is 1000 km? Or that a gram weighs 1000T? I must say no, because it was all tested and if things like these arent true, than the whole new physics would just colapse.

Look, I don't know much about this and I don't like really much this theme... but these themes are good for forum... so we can get more older members ... War3 is not everything in life... It would be great when we would have sport, sience, forums or forums for another games... CS, Action games ( Gta, Mafia... ). This forum is big enough and if want it bigger we should make from it a place for more ppl not just ppl who plays warcraft and more and more active moderators on those forums...
Anyway, what i wanted to say is... who doesn't like this theme... don't just come here to draw hate and write some stupid coments... I mean coments like "lol, rofl, borring, No, yes" and stuff...

wow god toppic:)
ok, for now, physics confirms only possibility to travel in future (form the knowledge that scientists are having currently).
travel in future is possible on the way someone mentiond (i think sikora). its well known that time isnt a constant, that it DEPENDS on terms of changes.
what would happen when changes stop? time will stop, like it never existed.
how is time measured currently then? by therm on changes. well, find definition somewhere in the physics book about how do people determine time and u ll get the point (i m tired of writting it here:P). and i think its well known who changed the way of thinking about time and many other things (and i bet even 3 year old kid heard about him).
there are many paradoxes which encounter this, but they will be solved some day. its like "space thermal death effect when dynamic temperature wages to 0K", which is "solved". or like "how is possible that + and - and attracting and that atom exist with rpton and electron separated", which is also "solved". black hole is one of biggest paradoxes in the universe adn which involves time also. NONE of them are 100% confirmed, also u theoretically CANT see it because it should absorb 100% of rays. but there ARE datas that simply confirmed existence of black holes and possibility of such.
adn ther are many other things also which are pretty complicated adn which currently DONT have answer.
like: what is the "white hole" and how come there is some strange energy that forces our space to grow. and if our space is spreading, into what is it spreading? etc etc etc. yea yea, i read books too. and i also watch discovery:D discovery ROXXX.

hei guys, let's talk about sex, this is to much thinking for me =)))
just kidding... sakky, glad you joined...
although you seem impressed by the existance of possibility that TIME TRAVEL could be preformable I hardly think that technology of this century is able to do such things...
maybe we need to search bugs in nature because I seriously doubt that there will be new patches :P
maybe when we focus our development of technology on something better that weapons we'll be able to travel in time....
but, there is always the question "what's with the abusing of time travel"
Demonhide_PT
5th August 2005, 07:21 AM
txx txx, time travel is only theoricaly possible, and can only travel to the future, not to the past.
how? if u travel @ a speed nearly the lightspeed (but not lightspeed itself or you would transform in energy and also because no material can [nowadays] support lightspeed)
its no use to xplain phisics and stuff cuz u wont understand, but i sugest, that if this matter means anything for you instead of movies, you should learn some phisics :)

i remember seeing that time is diferent for someone on ground, than for someone on a plane, but is like a minimum diference, which the humans cant notice just like that. I think i read that in stephen hawking book, but im not sure.
anyway, we can travel to the future, if we find someway to travel at speed of light and survive. i wouldnt mind taking the trip :D
however, thinking that traveling to the past is possible, is childish, the way i c it.

this should mean that i have right to post some more cause i passed physics tests very good:D:D:D
now, lets get serious... travel in past currently IMPOSSIBLE, and it may be like so forever. yet, there are certain theories on how to make in possible. but still nothing serious to say that it will be possible to travel in past. u cant even get in position to test those theories in most of cases, yet ,soem of them seem pretty interesting.
BUT, travel in future IS prooven as possible. according to natural terms of change, its very easy to proove it now. thought it was impossible to proove it in time when people started discussion about it (einstein:P) and he was considered as mad by claiming that time isnt like people think so. guess what? now people even measure time by therms of change. all world accepted the theory that time depends on therms of change.
is it possible to invoke reverse therms of change? if it is, then its possible to travel in past. yet again, its impossible and it will probably be impossible even to test certain theories even long time in future.
its like having e.g. black hole which includes having certain parameters as "irational" (like irrational numbers:P) to exist. and scientists still didnt even confirm their existence 100% anywhere. but its very close to it (like 98%).
theory about possibility for forming black holes is prooven on 2 ways, so those guys who study physics know about it very well, i dont want to make it long about that, post will be long anyway:P
its like gravity waves theory. its NEVER PROOVEN that it exists. yet, (in this case) even i belive that gravity force CANT affect other objects in "no-time" (i mean, it cant be true that gravity of our planet was able to affect 10,000,000,000 LY distanded objects with any force, in no-time when our planet appeared, ther emust be some delay). yet, its never prooven that some gravity waves exist, but its stupid to say "bullsit, there cant be gravity waves because noone found them". science is in progress, and even if they dont solve the problem is it possible or not in my whole life, i wont reject possibility that its maybe possible. its stupid, just like when u hear stories that "earth is flat" which was claimed as true few centuries ago or that "light spreads in no-time". that just prooves that many people who are laughing how privitive people were in past, are just another generation of people doing same thing.
same like considering electron as some kind of "ball rotating around nucleus". if its true, then how do u explain that it even passes through the nucleus? if both, protons and electrons are having so high density (or denseness, thickness whatever, i really dont know which way is correct to say for mass/volume on english so i try to improvise), it makes it impossible (and datas say so, right? classic theory is wrong then). so, electron is now considered as some kind of "possibility that the particular thing which we call electron will appear on certain place" (now, this really requires hell of english to describe it 100% correct, so i'll quit trying to do it, hoping u guys will understand... i think u will understand it if u were visiting your physics subject on fax, u ll probably recall the things u heard on physics subject about it on your native language:) ofcourse, if u were visiting physics subject:P). but guess what? its too damn complicated to say it like that in elementary school books.
P.S. one more thing, several year ago, scientists succeeded to teleport photon. and just about few years before it, people were telling that teleporting is totally impossible, but suddenly, some teleport hysteria started for soem short time. well, maybe it wont be possible in our life time, especially not like u see it on "enterprise" or "deep space". but its was like stories 1000 years before about that "man wont be able to fly ever"....
nothing will change by itself, and even if something is prooven as impossible, its prooven only by PROOVING IT BEING IMPOSSIBLE, and not by saying "no way man".
and that means that people must try to do something very hard before they quit (if they ever quit it).

i read it and as for traveling to the past i dont agree.
The past doesnt exist anymore, is just some memories we have from stuff that already happened that makes us calling it "the past" , but it isnt there, no matter what u do.
Past = memories in ur brain.

There is way to travel in past
I am not sure which towns, but in USA when u go with a plane for town A to town B u will come 2 hours before your plane goes from town A.
For example, if u go from New York in 14:00 u will be in Washington at 12:00 :D
This true, but it has no connection to time travel :)
