anyone plays the text based mmorpg darkthrone? if u do say something as im addict to both w3 and dt, and it would be fun to find someone here from dt as well :cool:

Well it is something like this, I wouldn't go to some site only to play that game, but I am pretty active on forum where i play it, ( that forum is about games ( serbian forum ) ) so it comes with it... and when I read post and finish with posting/reading I check my base, attack someone, buy something etc.. so it is fun... anyway stats on this forum will reset in next few days and then it start over at the end there will be some prises ( I don't know which one ) so it will be nice forum battle :) )

The only bad thing about this game is that u must be very active and spend money all the time cuz if someone spy and see u have many money ( u are getting some money every 30 minutes ) they will attack u and if they are stronger they will take it from u...

i had acc 104 lvl human fighter (offense trat) but i reseted it :)


now im playing on account Nash (lvl 62 undead fighter)
my population is almost 13.000

many players from kings of chaos (KOC) are now playing darkthrone, cause they think is better. not that im trying to make some propagand but is true.

i dont get what u mean by adding game to forums :confused: like darkthrone has the game itself textbased, then ahs diferent forums, like alliance forums, or the general forum and such, which is all part of the game.

to attack u need to train attackers (u can upgrade them fro stronger units - knights [if u r undead u can train them to berserkers])

select ATTACK from menu search for user u want to attack (u need turns to attack - u get 2 turns per 30 minutes)
also dont try to attack people (till u get very high offence) with very high population (they always have big deffence etc)
to get higher offence u need to upgrade offensive weapones, buy stuff for ur attackers (armor and swords)
and steed

one tip for good defence acc:
2. choose whatever you please to do... (I reccomend undead Cleric, humans and goblins work well also. However DONT PICK THEIF OR ASSASSIN)

3. Buy a soldier and steel boots.

4. go to the 3500-4000 pages and attack someone with (10 turns) a decent amount of gold out (1 million) and 0 army, and dont attack again until you have satisfactory stats.

5. Now you should have been propelled into the pages of inactive players allowing you to not getting attacked, I was attacked once in the past 30ish days

6. Spend that money on housing and train the rest of your citizens as miners LOTS OF MINERS

7. Click your own unique link.

8. Train a guard.

9. Use DarkRecruiter

10. now that you have this and (assuming you clicked late in the day) you shoul have all your citizens, buy miners with them.

11. Get 5 million-ish defense by only using the best weapons of every set (best sword, helmet, armor, bracers, boots)

12. Continue in 1 direction mainly, (defense or ofense) and put a smaller amount into the other.

13. Jump when you think your stats are good (at least 2M per level for defense

ADD IN: I forgot about spy stats, spy defense is necessary for the offensives who make enemies, and to deter smart opponents for defense players. Spy offense is necessary to find good targets, and to "attack" without using turns for a def player

i got about 8000 offence and 1000 defence and 6000 turns =)
